Love Island: All Stars fans were up in arms that exes Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish were coupled up together – with viewers slamming “evil” members of public who brutally voted to pair them up.
Things turned tense on the All Stars debut episode on Monday night (January 15) after former Nando’s waitress Liberty found herself teamed up with her ex Jake after a public vote placed them together. The Birmingham lass had already set her eyes on Mitch Tayler.
Stunning host Maya Jama, showed up in the villa wearing an eye catching plunging gown and tricked the islanders into believing that it was going to be business as normal with the girls choosing the guys. However, this time round the decision was taken out of their hands.

After it was announced that Liberty and Jake had been matched, angry fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to rage at those who had savagely elected for the former pair to be forced together. One person moaned: “That’s just cruel. Give Liberty a break poor girl.”
A second user fumed: “Liberty’s been through enough, why would you put her through that again?” While a third person added: “Nah, that’s just nasty British public. Liberty deserves a chance at finding someone better this time.”
Another wrote: “Naaaaaaah you lot are evil putting Liberty with Jake”. A fifth said: “Wow… whoever voted for liberty and Jake to be together you’re all evil… poor liberty…”
The couples voted for by the public are: Chris Taylor and Demi Jones, Luis Morrison and Georgia Harrison, Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel, Anton Danyluk and Hannah Elizabeth, Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole, Mitch Tayler and Kaz Kamwi.
The sexy-sun-soaked dating programme is back for its first-ever All Stars series. This has provided some iconic past stars of the show with a second chance at finding love.

Things all got a bit awkward early on in the show after Maya entered the villa looking drop dead gorgeous. None of the Islanders could take their eyes off of her.
One contestant – Anton Danyluk – took a particular shine to the host and attempted to crack on with her immediately as he whipped out his breath spray ready to pucker up. Maya wasn’t impressed.
The Bristol beauty sat down beside the Scotsman and appeared to be a bit creeped out by his actions as she fired a warning shot. “Don’t do that, Anton,” instructed Maya.

It was revealed recently that Anton finished with his fitness coach and nurse girlfriend Dominika Blunska, 25, just a month before he received the call from ITV producers. With the pair parting ways in September.
Despite the two exes having split and Anton now appearing on Love Island for the second time in hope of find ‘the one’, he has insisted that he and Dom are still on “great terms”. At least for now they are, perhaps that may change after his time in the South African villa.
