Love Island All Stars fate confirmed as show announces plans for 10-year anniversary

The future of Love Island All Stars has been confirmed after its debut earlier this year.

Bosses have announced the spin-off show is set to make a sizzling comeback in 2025, celebrating a decade of the smash-hit dating show. Originally kicking off as a celeb reality spectacle from 2005 to 2006, Love Island was given a fresh lease of life in 2015, and now ITV is gearing up to commemorate this landmark with a dazzling All Stars edition.

Lifted Entertainment’s creative honcho Mike Spencer gushed: “What a perfect way to celebrate a decade of Love Island, by bringing back another all star class of Islanders for what will I’m sure be another vintage year of romance, drama and relationships.”

The latest series saw Molly Smith and Tom Clare crowned winners, but the rumour mill’s still silent on which iconic ex-Islanders will be jetting back to the villa for another shot at love.

Bigwig producer Martin Oxley lavished praise on the spin-off for adding “a whole new dimension” to the show, now fronted by the fabulous Maya Jama.

He enthused: “Series 1 of All Stars gave a whole new dimension to goings on in the villa, and allowed us all to be re-acquainted with some of our favourite Love Island faces. We just can’t wait to see who will be queuing up to couple up in series 2, and who will be the last pair standing in the South African villa.”

Word on the street is that the inaugural All Stars romp was a hit with the show’s “loyal 16 to 34 audience”, and the big cheeses are buzzing to roll out another season.

Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality and Acquisitions at ITV, dished out the deets: “Love Island’s All Stars series proved to be an enticing New Year treat for our loyal 16 to 34 audience, so it is hugely exciting to be re-opening the doors of our South African villa for another set of alumni.”

But don’t fret Love Island fans, you won’t have to wait until 2025 for your next fix of the show as the main summer series is dropping next week with a fresh batch of singletons.

Mark your calendars, Love Island is making a splash back onto ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX come June 3.
