Fuming Love Island fans believe Chris Taylor’s “moaning” proved his own downfall following his shock exit on Friday night.
Chris, 33, was sensationally dumped from the villa just moments after the arrival of bombshell Adam Maxted, who previously starred on Love Island’s series two. Adam, 31, briefly had the chance to mingle with the girls, before receiving a text message asking each star to congregate by the firepit.
But despite not having enough time to speak to each girl individually, he was soon asked in a second message to choose who he would like to couple up with. After a couple of seconds of deliberation, he explained: “I have to choose who I think is the most similar to me and who I feel I could have a connection with. And that girl is Arabella.”

As the entire cast gasped, Chris’ fate was immediately sealed, and his time in South Africa was over. Viewers immediately took to X (formerly Twitter), suggesting his sudden departure may even have been a ploy by the show’s fed up bosses. One X user wrote: “Clearly the producers had enough of Chris or maybe he decided it was time to go. But that looked harsh felt sorry for Chris #loveisland.”
Another agreed: “Producers were probably sick of hearing Chris moan that’s why they did another dumping so fast #LoveIslandAllStars #LoveIsland.” A third suggested: “I just know love island producers were pissed off at Chris for sulking and being ungrateful so decided to do a sneak surprise #loveisland.”
A fourth added: “The producers were so determined to dump Chris! Didn’t work the first time, so they told Adam to steal Arabella.” And a fifth simply laughed: “So rigged! #LoveIslandAllStars.”
Asked what made him decide to have another bash at Love Island, Adam told ITV: “It’s a second opportunity to go in there as my older, wiser and more confident self. I was nervous last time – it would be nice to go in there and form a connection with somebody. I’ll be passing words of wisdom for sure. Everyone is in the Villa for the same reason and that is to find love. We are all at a stage in our lives where we are ready to find someone.”
Adam, whose previously relationship ended in 2020 said he was “more ready than ever” to find love again. “I will back myself, 100%,” he added. “Not in an arrogant way, but I know myself, I’ve learnt from my mistakes and I now want to take the time to step up. I’m not looking for drama , I’m looking for a connection and to get to know someone.”

Bombshells Joe Garratt and Joanna Chimonides have also been dumped from the villa, meanwhile. Joe looked furious at the axe on Friday night, having only entered days before alongside twins Jess and Eve Gale. He and Joanna were given the boot by their fellow Islanders at the firepit.
Joe and Joanna joined Arabella Chi, Casey O’Gorman, the twins, and Chris, prior to the latter’s own dumping. The villa had voted them the least compatible couples.
Love Island: All Stars airs every Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
