Love Island star Chris Taylor has revealed the rather unpleasant reason why he is returning to the ITV show.
Taylor, 33, was amongst the line-up confirmed to be going back on the show in order to find love once again. Amongst the other confirmed names hoping to make a second shot at love include Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk.
Chris has already had a taste of fame after making a brief appearance in the Barbie movie. During the course of the film, he could be seen in a scene when Kens overrun the world of the Barbies.

Speaking about how he landed the role, he admitted that he was personally headhunted by lead actress Margot Robbie. The Aussie acting legend has made no secret of her love for the dating show, with Chris revealing in another interview that Margot has a secret Instagram account where she follows all her favourite Islanders.
“I was invited to an after party by Margot Robbie and then ended up at an after party with her,” he admitted. “I started to panic and make conversation with her, just having really stupid chats. All I can assume is that my silly chat made an impression on Margot Robbie.
“18 months later I got an email from Warner Brothers asking do you want to try out for this role as Ken – it was a tumble dryer of emotions,” he continued. He joked that he could not believe the offer was real and had to double check the invitation was not a joke before accepting the role.
Now, Chris is hoping to find love once again after his first stint on the Island in 2019. Entering the show towards the end of the show, he was unhappy with his time on the programme, so is happy he has more time to enjoy himself on his second quest for love.
But when asked why he was returning to the villa, he gave a rather grim answer. “Last time I was only there for 15 days, so I want to do it and enjoy it all again,” he said.
“I am 33 now and getting on a bit – I am getting ear hair! It would be nice to have a girl to keep my ears trimmed for me! It would be good to find a girl who I can co-parent my dog with.”
Taylor also insisted that he was going to be more proactive in finding love, as the last time round saw him be rejected by multiple women. He said he would be going out of his way to be more forthcoming, which he quipped could be a help or a hindrance.
“I am going to try very hard to not get pied as many times as I did last time. I managed to get pied six times in 15 days, which has got to be a world record,” he joked. “I am going to make better decisions which will probably end up transitioning into worse decisions.”
Taylor’s career has gone from strength to strength after his first stint on the show. After leaving the show, Chris carried on with his comedy career, fostering a growing fanbase on his social media platforms.
Love Island: All Stars begins next Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
