Molly-Mae Hague has received heavy criticism from online trolls once again as they complained her daughter’s birthday celebrations lacked colour.
The proud mum of one, who shares her daughter Bambi with her fiance Tommy Fury, was happy to give her social media followers a glimpse of her baby girl’s first birthday party. Sharing snaps on Instagram, Molly flaunted an aesthetically pleasing birthday bash, which included gorgeous white decor.
The Love Island star and her daughter Bambi were both dressed in white, while the balloons, cake and flowers behind them all sported natural tones. In one of the photos, Bambi could be seen giving a cheeky smile to the camera, meanwhile, Tommy and Molly could also be seen blowing out Bambi’s candle on her cake in a cute video clip.

Captioning her post, Molly, 24, wrote: “My one-year-old. Happy first Birthday to my little girl…I love you more every single day. You’re so beyond special Bambi… I’m so proud to call you my daughter.”
But although her luxurious aesthetic was pleasing to the eyes, many of Molly’s followers took displeasure with the white colour theme stating that her little one needed colour to help her development. Heading straight to the comment, many shared their criticisms.
One social media user said: “Beautiful. A bit of colour in her life wouldn’t go amiss, babies and children need colour for so many reasons.”
Another penned: “Why’s everything so boring tho? White white pristine white.. where’s the colour? Especially for a baby it doesn’t look like a birthday.”
A third fumed: “I’m sure your little girl loved all the neutral decor. Bit selfish. Little girls love sparkles and pink and everything princess. Cute cake you made though.”
While a fourth added: “Beautiful but don’t you worry about the lack of colour in her life!?! Children are supposed to be stimulated.”
But others jumped to Molly’s defence. Offering a different take, one person wrote: “All you nasty people making comments about the colours she’s 1 she won’t remember what colour things were or will she care as she won’t know any different. Get a life don’t like it, scroll on simple as that you all clearly have very very sad lives.
And another said: “If you all want colour then have your own colourful birthday parties. Why are you all so mad.”
Despite the backlash, Molly did receive a number of wholesome messages wishing Bambi a lovely first birthday. She also received praise for her colourful homemade cake which continued her mother’s family traditions.
