Margot Robbie’s ‘hot and sweaty’ sex scene involved toes smothered in dog food

Margot Robbie’s sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio were “not glamorous” and involved pet treats.

The actress told the Evening Standard: “We [had to] entice this dog to jump in the bed and bite at Leo’s feet, so we had dog trainers at the end of the bed [with] dog treats. We’re putting chicken liver on Leo’s toes. We’re in a small room, it’s hot, it’s sweaty, it smells like dog food.”

The actress admitted that “the whole thing ended up being quite comical” and the pair managed to see the funny side of things. It appears that this wasn’t the only trouble the pair faced while filming their romping scenes.

During The Wolf of Wall Street, Leonardo’s character Jordan Belfort and Margot’s Naomi Lapaglia are seen getting frisky on top of a huge pile of money. However, the scene was particularly awkward for the A-list actors to portray and Margot has assured her fans it “wasn’t glamorous”.

She spoke to Daily Beast about the filming sequence and said: “It’s not as glamorous as it sounds. If anyone is ever planning on having sex on top of a pile of cash: don’t.” Since her breakout Hollywood role as Naomi in the blockbuster movie, Robbie has skyrocketed to fame and landed some huge projects.

Most recently, Margot starred in 2023’s Barbie as the main character and her Ken co-star Ryan Gosling revealed that she had a strict rule while on set. Gosling confessed that Margot put a “pink day” in place for everyone on set, which meant they had to wear pink or pay a fine.

Gosling said: “No-one ever had to pay it because, especially the men on the crew, were so excited to wear pink and not just wear it because they didn’t feel like they had permission in their lives to wear it. But also, because they were just in such awe, as we all were, of what Margot and Greta [Gerwig[ were creating.”

He said that the cast and crew “admired what they were doing” and couldn’t stop praising the stars.
