Peter Andre addresses major change after fifth baby as he vows ‘this is our last time’

Peter Andre has opened up about his life with his youngest child Arabella, revealing he put his career on pause to soak up every moment with his newborn daughter. Chatting to Heat magazine, the 51-year-old pop star gushed over his special bonding time with Arabella, who arrived earlier this year, alongside wife Emily MacDonagh, 34.

Andre dished: “I’ve always bonded with all my children, but with Arabella, I made sure I had some quality time with her from the day she was born.”

He added: “So, I stopped all my work to enable me to be with her and Emily because this is our last time or so we keep saying!”.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker explained his decision for the work hiatus: “I didn’t want to miss the moments with Arabella that I lost with my other kids. More importantly, being at home has allowed me to spend more time with all the kids. It’s been really special.”

Andre’s heartfelt revelations come after he faced questions about the age difference with his missus on Lorraine, where he noted some amusing generational gaps, especially in music tastes, reports the Mirror.

He laughed off the differences, saying: “There are little differences, music is one of the things I’ve noticed. You know when they say something like: ‘Ah, this is an old classic!’ and it’s like from 2015.”

He continued, bemused: “‘What do you mean it’s an old classic? ‘ We’re thinking 70s and 80s are old classics. No, it’s how you are with each other.”

Peter Andre has opened up about the household regime with his brood, revealing that his older kids, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, were initially “horrified” by his wife Emily’s strict dinner time rules. The NHS doctor insists on no distractions during meals, a move that left the youngsters gobsmacked at first.

The pop star shared: “At mealtimes, she makes sure we all sit together and talk – no distractions. When we first told Princess and Junior about our new house rules, they were horrified.”

“But after about a week, they just got it and now they never watch TV or go on their phones while we eat. It’s a real bonding opportunity for us. Emily is quite strict about it, but she’s right – we were both brought up this way.”
