Piers Morgan outrage as he says he would ‘dismember and incinerate’ Prince Harry

Piers Morgan has stunned royal fans by joking he would “dismember” Prince Harry if he were his brother Prince William.

The divisive broadcaster, 58, has always let his feelings be known on the King’s son – especially his lack of fondness for Harry’s wife Meghan Markle. Morgan even went as far as to quit Good Morning Britain live on air in 2021 after a hate-fuelled rant on the royal couple sparked backlash from his ITV co-workers.

Since then, Piers has moved over to news chat channel TalkTV, with his flagship show regularly pulling in thousands of viewers. But in the latest episode of the show, Piers sparked fury from those watching after he made some horrifying claims.

His comments came after the Duke of Sussex flew into the UK to check up on King Charles following his recent cancer diagnosis. Harry’s whistle-stop trip to the UK was made up of spending much-needed time with with the King before flying back to his California home, where Meghan was looking after their two children.

Harry was seen to be staying at a hotel close to Buckingham Palace when he came to check in on his father. The trip lasted just 26 hours, with the Prince then flying home straight after.

But Piers could not contain his thoughts for the couple much longer and on Wednesday night (February 7), Piers once again attacked the pair on his TalkTV show. Debating whether Prince Harry should have reconnected with Prince William during the trip, he said that this should have been an opportunity to extend an olive branch.

“What I would do if one of my family, one of my siblings had spent the last few years trashing the family on television, trashed my wife, trashed my dad’s wife, trashed my dad, trashed my sister, and so on,” he declared. “I would dismember them one limb at a time and after I’d severed all their limbs I would probably incinerate them.”

Immediately, there was tension on the set of the show, with panellist James Barr blasting Piers for his “disgusting” language. However, undeterred, Piers continued: “How can you be surprised?

“I’m the devil, that’s what devils do,” he said, chillingly. “I mean metaphorically, what I mean is I’d be utterly enraged,” he added in an attempt to salvage the show.

Those watching his show were left appalled at what Morgan said. One viewer took to social media to vent their frustrations at the controversial broadcaster: “Why not concentrate on the fact that the King of England has cancer instead of spending time bashing Prince Harry and Meghan? Not once did I hear Piers say he was wishing the King a recovery.”

A second user also expressed their horror at his remarks, adding: “Piers Morgan is crying that he wants to dismember Prince Harry. You ever see those extractions that people pull out of their ears? That’s Piers – a big thick piece of flesh that’s basically decay inside of a pore of a human’s skin.”

Other accounts declared that Piers should be “locked up” for what he said, with one viewer going as far as to tag the Metropolitan Police and the LA Police Department to be aware of his remarks. Piers has not addressed his comments since.

Morgan’s remarks come just days after a GB News guest touted that Harry and Meghan were, in part, responsible for the King’s diagnosis. Harry’s relationship with the rest of the Royal Family has become more and more strained since he left the family to live with his wife and children in America.

Mike Parry, a controversial broadcaster, spoke on GB News on Tuesday, made the hypothesis public when he appeared as a guest on the channel. He explained: “Could the stress of having to sort out the Harry situation over the last two years have contributed to his illness? Because we know that stress does contribute to illness.”

However, in an attempt to stop Parry from creating baseless claims, the hosts were quick to nip the theory in the bud. Similarly, another guest hit out at Mike, adding: “I don’t think there’s any medical evidence of that whatsoever.”
