Bridgerton heartthrob Rege-Jean Page is set to sizzle on the big screen once more with his latest flick Black Bag securing a release date that’s just around the corner for eager fans.
The dashing actor will be gracing cinemas in the espionage thriller from March 14, 2025, as reported by Deadline. He’ll be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood royalty in the Steven Soderbergh-directed spy caper, sharing the spotlight with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender and Marisa Abela.
The star-studded lineup doesn’t end there, with Naomie Harris, Pierce Brosnan and Tom Burke also confirmed to join the high-octane adventure. Cameras started rolling in London on May 6 this year, signalling the start of what promises to be a blockbuster production.
Penned by David Koepp and produced by Casey Silver and Gregory Jacobs, the film is set to be a global sensation with Focus Features handling distribution in the States and Universal Pictures taking it worldwide, reports the Mirror.

Details about the plot are shrouded in secrecy, fitting for its mystery genre, but anticipation is already building. Rege-Jean shot to fame in 2020 as the suave Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, in Netflix’s Bridgerton, which quickly became a smash hit.
Despite the show’s massive success, the London-born actor chose to bow out after the first season, seeking new opportunities.
Reflecting on his departure, he told Vanity Fair in 2023: “I signed up to do a job and I did the job and then I did some other jobs. That’s it. That’s the story.”
Post-Bridgerton, Rege-Jean has been hot property in Hollywood, landing roles in several major productions.
In 2022, he starred in the action-packed Netflix thriller, The Gray Man, alongside big names like Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Jessica Henwick.
His next venture was Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, a film adaptation of the popular tabletop role-playing game. The cast included Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant, alongside Rege-Jean.
The storyline revolves around bard Edgin Darvis (Chris Pine) and barbarian Holga Kilgore (Michelle Rodriguez), who assemble a team of unlikely heroes to snatch an ancient and potent relic, only to find themselves up against malevolent forces.
Black Bag will be releasing in cinemas on March 14 2025.
