Selena Gomez looked incredible in a plunging red gown at the premiere of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
The 32-year-old actress shot to fame on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, the original series, where she played young witch Alex Russo. So it must have been quite the nostalgia trip for Selena when she attended the premiere of the show’s spin-off on Monday night (October 28).
Selena stole the show at the event when she showed off her sensational figure in a red sequin gown featuring a thigh-high split revealing her legs. The Rare singer matched her dress with ruby-red heels that elevated her frame as she dazzled the cameras.

She reunited with her former Wizards castmates David Henrie and Janice LeAnn Brown, and Ayo Davis at the glitzy premiere at El Capitan Theatre in California. Selena revealed her delight at being back with her TV family to celebrate the new spin-off.
“Bringing back my childhood has been such a beautiful gift,” she wrote in the caption of her post on Instagram. “I hope you all can enjoy this beautiful project that was made with so much love. PS. Our pilot show used to be called something else [heart emjoi].”
Selena shared several snaps of the premiere, including a sweet reunion pic with David, who played her on-screen brother Justin Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place. David told US Weekly: “It was awesome. We didn’t want it to end. It was great.”
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Selena said of the reunion: “It did feel like going home. It was so funny because when I showed it to my mom, she literally just died laughing. She goes, ‘You two just still have it.’ Because I think we bring that out in each other.”
Selena, David and Ayo appear in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. The reboot follows an adult Justin Russo who has chosen to live a normal, mortal life. However, everything changes when his sister Alex reveals that young wizard Billie (Davis) needs a mentor.
Both Gomez and Henrie are executive producers on the show. Selena said: “I think the only thing I can provide is the love and support that they’re going to need during this time because hopefully it’s a life-changing experience.”
