The Chase fans joked that they were feeling hot under the collar after a stunning contestant competed on the quiz show.
Tuesday’s (23 January) instalment of the ITV programme saw a woman named Tara trying her luck in the hope of scooping a big prize, but viewers were so focused on her good looks that they could barely pay attention to her game.
Tara turned heads as soon as she appeared on the show, which is hosted by presenter Bradley Walsh, with fans flocking to X to comment on her appearance. “Hello Tara!” posted one impressed viewer, as another teased that everyone should “get behind” the brunette.

Someone else dropped a hearts in eyes emoji to show their appreciation. One person shared a hilarious GIF of someone fanning themselves, and another shared one of a man biting his knuckles in frustration.

“To be fair to Tara, when you look like her you don’t need to be particularly clever to get on in life,” said one admirer. “How lovely is Tara,” said someone else, as another fan said she was “sensational”.
“Tara is lovely, with a great personality as well,” remarked another viewer, as one quipped: “Tara de boom! Today.” One more penned: “Tara chose looks over books #TheChase.”

There was plenty of excitement all around when Tara made it through to the next stage of the contest. Lots of viewers joked that they wouldn’t turn off and would watch all the way to the end of The Chase with her in the final.
“Tara made it through fellas!” one gleeful viewer announced. “Tara is through so I will be watching the show till the end,” said another. Somebody else chimed in to agree: “Well done Tara now I don’t have to turn over, I’ll stay to the end of The Chase.”
