This Morning star Vanessa Feltz has taken another swipe at her ex Ben Ofoedu as she claims she was his “personal chauffeur” because he couldn’t drive.
The 62-year-old appeared on the ITV show alongside LBC’s Tom Swarbrick to discuss the latest news topics with presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. Focusing on more light-hearted topics, the foursome talked about backseat drivers and whether they consider themselves to be one.
Backseat drivers are those who dish their take and advice even though they are not behind the wheel. Sharing her experience, Vanessa said her ex Ben was a bad backseat driver and would often put his foot down on an imaginary break.

She then went on to admit that she was forced to drive the 51-year-old singer everywhere and became his personal “chauffeur”. She then scathed that he should have learnt how to drive.

She said: “Well, you know my last relationship that went on for 17 years that incumbent refused to learn how to drive. So I was the chauffeur, cook, bottle washer and chauffeur.
“And the backseat driving got worse with every year. Including that thing where that person was pushing on an imaginary break as I was driving- I’m a bit of a girl racer at times but I did not like it! You just think mate, if you want to drive learn to drive!”
Tom stepped in and said: “There’s one thing about being a backseat driver and being a driver. But there’s another thing about being a backseat driver and not knowing how to drive.”
Vanessa and Ben’s relationship hit the headlines last year when Ben was caught in a cheating scandal that he admitted to. This is what ultimately led to the pair’s break up and to TV star Vanessa kicking Ben out of their family home.
Last year, Ben said their relationship was moving in different directions. He also confessed that he did want to get married but Vanessa – who was his fiance – didn’t.

He said: “Marriage means a lot to me, and I wanted to be married and she didn’t want that, so we were going in different directions. I always wanted to be a married man, my mum and dad were married, it is a lot to do with my faith as well.
“I was so in love so I didn’t see that, and I thought one day we would get married but that wasn’t on the cards.” Since their relationship breakdown, Ben has moved on and is now dating Precious Muir, 33.
