X Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza unrecognisable as doting dad 13 years on

Frankie Cocozza has undergone a major transformation since his days on The X Factor.

The Brighton lad was just 18 when he wowed Gary Barlow and made it to the live shows in the ‘Boys’ category. However, Frankie’s journey on the ITV show ended abruptly as he left for breaking the rules, confessing that life had spiralled “out of control” during the competition.

Fast forward 13 years, after coming second in Celebrity Big Brother, Frankie has put his reality TV days behind him but still hits the music scene when dad duties permit. Now at 31, Frankie’s wild child days are over and he’s a devoted father to his five year old son, also named Frankie, with ex-wife Bianca Murphy.

The couple got hitched in a Brighton bash in 2018 after meeting on Celebs Go Dating, only to part ways four years on. Frankie Jr. is no stranger on his celeb dad’s Insta page, with Frankie Sr. giving a massive birthday shout-out on 15 May 2024 to celebrate his little one turning the big five: “My little mush is 5,” he gushed alongside a slideshow of father-son moments.

Frankie also had an image overhaul with tatts galore and abs for days, all splashed over his socials – not to mention ditching his iconic wild locks for a sleek, sharp chop. A throwback to September 2024 showed Frankie in a beach snap from Indonesia flaunting his killer ink.

Fans almost mistook Frankie for fellow singer Robbie Williams

Fans also reckon he’s morphing into Robbie Williams as omments flooded in: “Bloody hell I thought you were Robbie Williams!!” Another fan also wrote: “Thought this was an old pic of @robbiewilliams”, and: “I’m sorry this isn’t @robbiewilliams”.

X Factor fans will remember that Frankie was just a student during his X-Factor stint, crooning to Valerie and spilling the beans on how he signed up just to snag the ladies, and who could forget that cheeky reveal of seven gals’ names tattooed on his bum which left N-Dubz’s Tulisa gobsmacked.
