The BRITs are back!

This year, comedian Jack Whitehall is the host with the most, who will be welcoming the biggest names in music to The O2 Arena in London. Pop sensation Charli XCX picked up the most nominations, with five, and was announced as winner of Songwriter Of The Year days before the event.

But as everyone gets excited for this year’s event, we asked AI to come up with the ultimate BRIT Awards ceremony. ChatGPT came up with an incredible line-up of performers, winners and even stand-out red carpet moments.

The super-computer even suggested a host for the event, for what would certainly be a night to remember.

Who would host?

According to AI, non-other than homegrown talent Adele would host the event. In recent years, the likes of Maya Jama, Jack Whitehall, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp have been in charge of the mic.

But it seems Adele would be the perfect host, with the software telling Daily Star: “She’s charming, funny, relatable, and a global icon who knows how to work a crowd. Plus, she’s won so many BRITs herself that it’s only fitting she hosts this ultimate ceremony.”

During her hosting gig, AI reckons Adele would rip into Piers Morgan. AI said she would call him out “for some past nonsense comment he made about British artists” and, of course, the “audience roars with laughter, Twitter explodes”.

And as the show came to a close, she would invite all of the winners and performers on stage for the ultimate selfie. “It includes: Adele, Beyoncé, Harry, Elton, Queen, ABBA, Stormzy, Florence, Little Mix, and a giant cardboard cutout of Bowie for good measure,” AI said. “Instantly becomes the most-liked Instagram post of all time.”

That’s not all, though, as Adele would also perform on the night – but more on that later.

Who would win?

We asked ChatGPT for its ultimate list of winners in the major categories. And the show-stopping list will surely get no complaints from fans.

Amy Winehouse was handed British Album Of The Year for Back To Black. The AI described it as “a modern classic that defined an era and redefined British soul and pop music”. Amy won British Female Solo Artist in 2007, though missed out on British Album Of The Year.

For Song Of The Year, the honour would go to Oasis for Wonderwall. AI said the song is “the ultimate anthem that has transcended generations, played at every festival, pub, and party since its release”. Oasis have won six BRITs, including British Video Of The Year for Wonderwall in 1996, though it did not win British Single Of The Year.

Next up, for British Artist Of The Year, “icon” David Bowie would accept the award, due to his “influence on British music”. Bowie won four BRITs before his death, including British Male Solo Artist three times.

However, in a poll run by Daily Star for this year’s category, Geordie lad Sam Fender came out on top, shortly followed by Dua Lipa. Sam has won two BRITs during his career so far, including Best Rock/Alternative Act in 2022.

No surprise, The Beatles would win British Group Of The Year. AI said: “There’s no British group more iconic, innovative, and influential than The Beatles.” They won the award in 1977, and nabbed three other trophies during their time.

Beyoncé would win International Artist Of The Year and have a surprise performance(Image: PA)

Switching it up for the international categories, Beyoncé takes it for International Artist Of The Year. She’s deserving as “a global superstar whose impact on music, culture, and performance is unmatched”. She has won five BRITs, including Best International Female Solo Artist twice.

Swedish quartet ABBA pick up International Group Of The Year. AI said the group are “pop perfection and global legends whose influence still shapes modern music”. Surprisingly, they only won one BRIT Award, and it wasn’t until 2023, with the special Brits Billion Award.

Finally, legend Whitney Houston would win Best International Song, for I Wanna Dance With Somebody. AI said the track is “one of the most beloved pop songs of all time, still filling dancefloors decades later”. She won two BRITs before her tragic death, including the special Brits Billion Award in 2023.

Who would perform?

As we mentioned, ultimate host Adele would also perform. AI reckons she’s bring “all the emotions and goosebumps” with a mash-up of Someone Like You and Rolling In The Deep.

Also on the night, Queen featuring Adam Lambert would perform. With a medley containing hits from Boheman Rhapsody to We Will Rock You, AI reckons it would be “pure stadium magic”.

Representing the rap scene, Stormzy would bring a blend of Vossip Bop and Blinded By Your Grace, Pt 2 with a choir.

The one everyone would be waiting for would be the Spice Girls reunion, with an original medley of Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life and Stop. But it wouldn’t end there, as AI said a big surprise on the night would be a supergroup performance with Spice Girls and Little Mix.

“During the Spice Girls’ medley, Little Mix joins them on stage for a ‘girl power’ mashup of Shout Out To My Ex and Wannabe,” it said. “Instant viral moment, and a passing of the torch between two of the UK’s biggest girl groups.”

Then, Elton John and Dua Lipa would take to the stage for a “cross-generational collab”, performing Cold Heart, before Elton his the stage solo with Your Song.

But, the super-computer has another surprise in store. An unannounced duet for Harry Styles and Beyoncé. “Mid-show, the screen goes black and the lights slowly rise on Harry Styles and Beyoncé performing a surprise duet — a gorgeous stripped-back acoustic version of Crazy in Love,” it said. “No one saw it coming.”

After, Dua Lipa would announce a new collaboration on the night too, with ABBA. “Half the audience thinks she’s joking,” says AI. “She’s not.”

There would also be a surprise David Bowie tribute, with Florence Welch singing Life On Mars, Stormzy doing a spoken word tribute over Heroes, Elton John on piano for Space Oddity, and Lady Gaga closing the show with a “theatrical rendition of Let’s Dance”.

Red carpet stand-out

AI says Harry Styles would have the biggest red carpet moment(Image: Getty Images)

AI reckons Harry Styles would be the stand-out on the red carpet “no contest”. It said: “Harry has mastered the art of the red carpet, blending bold, gender-fluid fashion with old-school rock star glamour.

“Whether it’s a lace Gucci suit, a sequinned jumpsuit, or a feather boa and pearls combo, Harry’s outfits always get everyone talking — from fashion critics to fans on social media.”

He’d go for a dramatic, custom Vivienne Westwood ensemble, with plaid trousers and a shirtless blazer moment, as well as sky-high platforms. He’d be adorned with multiple rings and a pearl necklace, with his hair “slightly tousled”.

AI describes it as “effortlessly cool, like he didn’t even try (but he did)”.

Honourable mentions would go to Rihanna, in “some avant-garde couture look”, Lady Gaga in a “full Bowie-inspired look”, Florence Welch “for ethereal, high-fashion drama”, and Lil Nas X who is “guaranteed to push boundaries with something bold, vibrant, and maybe a bit cheeky”.
