All celebs rocking ‘only underwear trend’ on stage as fans cry ‘get them clothes’

While it’s not unusual for female popstars to take to the stage scantily-clad, it seems this summer they’ve turned it up a notch – by performing in their underwear.

At the moment, we’re seeing a revival of the ‘Pop Queen’ with the likes of Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and now Addison Rae taking over music.

But, while the talented ladies are all over the charts and embedding themselves into our summer playlists, they’ve also chucked out their clothes on the way up.

There’s a new trend, that is also being picked up by fans, where female popstars are essentially wearing nothing but their bras and knickers on stage.

Some have even declared ‘get her clothes’ as American TikTok star turned Pop diva Addison Rae performed her debut album at The Box in London last night (Tuesday 10) all while wearing a yellow underwear set. She modelled a similar nude look for her set in New York, in collaboration with Spotify.

Even fellow Pop princess Tate McRae, dubbed Gen Z’s Britney Spears, has been rocking lingerie for her raunchy stage performances -oozing sex appeal and feminine energy.

American lingerie brand Honey Birdette has been behind many of her looks on tour and in music videos. The label are known for their provocative designs, sculpted silhouettes and ‘luxurious attention to detail’.

And not to forget Sabrina Carpenter’s playful pin-up looks she’s been showcasing on her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ tour. She even donned a red sparkly lingerie number at the BRIT awards earlier this year, sparking prude viewers to threaten Ofcom complaints.

Should they ‘put their clothes on’ like some fans have suggested or are they just having feminine fun?

Either way, it looks like Pop Queens are taking over music once again and they’re frolicking around in lingerie while at it…
