Peter Serafinowicz has reportedly split from actress Sarah Alexander after 23 years together.
The actor and comedian recently appeared in the BBC comedy series Amandaland, but has also appeared in huge films, including Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, and John Wick: Chapter 2. Serafinowicz also voiced Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace.
It’s believed the 52-year-old has ‘recently’ separated from actress Sarah Alexander, who starred in the BBC sitcom Coupling. They share two children together; son Sam and daughter Phoebe.
A source told Daily Mail: “It’s very sad, but the split is recent.”

Before Peter, Sarah was in a brief relationship with actor Gerald Harper, who was 40 years her senior. Their romance hit the headlines in 2001, when she was aged 30 and Harper was 70.
However, it didn’t last and in 2002, she left him for Peter, whom she later married. The low-key pair kept their family life private and were living in West London prior to their recent split.
Peter recently played Amanda’s (Lucy Punch) South African property developer boyfriend Johannes in BBC’s Amandaland. The show, a spin-off of Motherland, will return for a second series.

He played Edgar Covington in Parks and Recreation, starred alongside Olivia Colman in the BBC Two series, Look Around You, and appeared in Doctor Who. In 2016, Peter went viral for mocking Donald Trump by dubbing over videos of the now-president with a “sassy” voice.

The star appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 2 and worked with the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey in the Sing movies. The actor has also voiced characters in popular video games, such as Dark Souls II and LittleBigPlanet 3.
Sarah has appeared in a number of British TV shows, such as Jonathan Creek, Green Wing, and Smack the Pony. She also played Alice Fletcher in the US show Teachers, loosely based on the UK version, which ran on NBC.
The actress has also featured in her husband’s shows, including Look Around You, O! News and his eponymous comedy show.
Peter has opened up about his personal experience of being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40. He told the i Paper: “I only found out 10 years ago, and really even more recently than that – like a year or two ago – realised just how severely it’s affected my life.
“Having ADHD for me, it’s like being a genius, and also being a total idiot. Some things I can do really super well, and there are some very, very, very basic things that I find almost impossible. I think that’s true for a lot of people with ADHD.”
