A Beckham party guest, who was invited to the celebration by football legend David and fashion designer Victoria, has recalled the moment they were left gobsmacked at the event
Victoria Beckham left one of her party guests lost for words.
Carlos Pavon Jr once told the La Pelota Al DIEZ podcast: “It was the birthday of one of [David’s] sons. They had a party in a giant park and there were inflatable trampolines and the whole team was there, his whole family was there.”
“I was playing with his son on the inflatable trampoline and we were jumping, then out of nowhere I notice the kid’s mum comes in, David’s wife, Victoria.”
“She started jumping with us and I was like: ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this with Victoria Beckham!’ So I think that was the funniest thing.”
“Everybody saw when she came in and started jumping with us, so when I came out I think they all saw my surprised face like: ‘Wow, that just happened?’ It was really funny.”
Pavon Jr went on to say that when he was younger he “followed” David’s career and “played FIFA with him,” so seeing the football player in real life and meeting his family “was almost like a dream, like it wasn’t real”.
David recently celebrated his 50th birthday in London with his family, but son Brooklyn was noticeably absent from the event.
Victoria and their children Harper, Romeo and Cruz were pictured decked out to the nines to ring in David’s half-century, but Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz were nowhere to be seen.
Rumours of a feud between the Beckhams have begun to circulate and the couple have reportedly missed 12 family gatherings.
Daily Mail reported: “Brooklyn and Nicola have missed a total of 12 family events in the past year now, the first being David’s 49th birthday dinner in May last year held at the Canton Blue restaurant at the five-star London hotel, The Peninsula.”
