EXCLUSIVE: As the fifth semi-final gears up to get away, one of the more off-the-wall acts has told the Daily Star about the carnage we can expect from them tonight
An unusual Britain’s Got Talent act has promised ‘there will be pain’ and ‘people will be hurt’ in tonight’s semi-final.
Josh Coles, perhaps best known as the mud-drenched frontman of Hillbilly Nation, joined up with ‘homemade stunt’ group Lazy Generation to take on the iconic reality show.
They captured the judges’ imaginations with brutal body-on-the-line debauchery, and are now promising that tonight’s performance will get people hurt.
Home-grown daredevil Josh told the Star: “These kinds of stunts, they’ve never been seen on ITV before. It’s pretty incredible they’re letting us do what we’re doing,” he said.
“That’s pretty mad. 100% [people will get hurt] yeah, 100%, no doubt about it. They will definitely be hurt, pain will be inflicted.”
He had to keep his lips sealed about what would be coming, but did add that the groups were desperate to win the talent show so they can give King Charles a memorable performance.
“We want to get in front of old Charlie boy and please his good humour,” Josh added.
“We want to be a bit out there, in an inclusive environment, with camaraderie and lads, lads, lads. Now we’re on the big stage.”
Speaking previously to the Daily Star, Josh, who also goes by the moniker King Billy, discussed the kind of antics he is used to getting up to.
“We’ve always wanted to make a tractor fly – it sounds stupid, it sounds impossible but I’ve literally dreamt about that.”
“We also want to build the world’s fastest log,” he added.
“My past is [in] logging, my family are loggers – I call it “lugging” and I wrote a song about this… called Lugging Today Buhs.”
The track reached number one in the UK iTunes country charts.
Tonight’s BGT semi final is the last one before the final, with reports KSI will be returning to the judging panel for the his live-show debut after initially stepping in for Bruno Tonioli during the auditions.
Tonight’s lineup is set to include Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and KSI.
The final BGT semi-final is due to air at 7pm tonight on ITV.
