Korean magician Manho Han took a nasty tumble off the stage at the start of his act on Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent – but fans were even less impressed by what followed
The Britain’s Got Talent judges got a proper scare when Manho Han took a nosedive with a massive thud, declaring just seconds earlier his ambition to be the show’s first Korean champion.
It seemed like his hopes of hitting it big in the UK hit the deck as the magic man took a tumble for all to see, following another chaotic scene from the ITV show.
The crowd and judges looked properly shell-shocked, but Manho was back on his feet in no time, getting right back into the swing and earning applause from guest judge KSI. Simon Cowell chimed in to say the fumble messed up the trick – you could see Manho’s heart sink.
But he rallied, saying: “The fact that it went wrong sort of made the act better! Things do go wrong in life!” Manho didn’t catch a break on socials though, where telly-watchers gave their brutal hot takes on the commendations lobbed by the panel.
“His attention to detail obviously wasn’t that great…he fell off the stage! #bgt,” one telly fanatic tweeted, reports the Express. “Bring back the fat dancer… better than this 3rd rate magician,” another poured scorn, holding up a scorecard with a mere five out of ten.
But another tweeter joked: “I suppose at least we’ll remember this lad, for falling off the stage! #BGT.” Despite the nippy comments online, Manho smashed it with the panel and punters alike, beaming as he soaked up four emphatic yeses.
“You’re an absolute pro – carried on like nothing happened!” praised Amanda Holden.
“I really loved the idea as unique… we’ve never had anything as cool and as slick and as modern as this, I loved it!”.
