Former Blue Peter presenter Tim Vincent looks incredible 28 years after he left the BBC programme, and his followers have made it clear they are still fans of his look
Blue Peter presenter Tim Vincent has barely aged three decades since he made his name on the show.
The TV star presented the BBC series from 1993 to 1997, winning plenty of fans thanks to his upbeat personality and boy next door looks. During his years on the programme – which is set to end its live shows – he travelled to South Africa and ran the New York marathon.
Fast forward 28 years since he left, and Tim still looks handsome as ever. The star was just 21 when he landed the Blue Peter role, but is now 52 and has undergone a hunky transformation.
Back in the day, the star had dark brown hair worn in a slight quiff, but recent snaps on social media show he now looks suave with greying hair. Fans definitely approve of his look, with many calling him “handsome” on his recent social media snaps and others dropping flaming hot emojis to show their appreciation.
Tim’s life is also very different these days, as he is now dad to six-year-old twins Felix and Jasper. He opened up about them in an interview in 2023, admitting that chasing around after them sometimes tired him out.
“Of course it does!” he told Best magazine. “I’m a little achy, a little tired after I’ve run round after them, but that is normal.
“I even need to lie down now and then. But that’s probably true of single dads half my age!”
He regularly gives fans on Instagram a peek of his life with his sons, sharing snaps of them enjoying holidays and days out. “Happy Sixth Birthday boys,” he penned on their last birthday. “I hope this next year coming is as fun and happy and exciting as the last few.”
“Jasper and Felix you are amazing!” he added. “Daddy x.”
After his Blue Peter years, Tim did a stint in Emmerdale, playing vet Adam Forrester in the ITV soap from 2000 to 2001. He was also a regular presenter on the Miss World contest for many years.
He later headed across the pond to the US. He was based there for many years and was a presenter on programmes including Access Hollywood.
He later returned and settled back in the UK, working on TV and in radio. In 2008, he strapped on his skates and took part in Dancing On Ice. He was paired with pro skater Victoria Borzenkova in the ITV competition, and they were the fifth couple to be eliminated.
Tim now hosts a podcast called Suddenly Single along with Siobhan Wykes. They unveiled the podcast last year, and guests have included Katie Price, Ulrika Jonsson and Vanessa Feltz.
Explaining what the podcast was all about as they announced it, they said: “Each week we’re sitting down with our favourite celebs for a big chat about their love lives. We’re talking heartbreaks, love at first sight, bedroom mishaps, and just exactly what the key to a successful relationship is.”
