Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have been the centre of family feud claims after they skipped Brooklyn’s dad David’s 50th birthday – her former hair stylist has spoken out
Nicola Peltz has been branded the “worst of the worst” and a “monster” by her former hair colourist.
Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and wife Nicola, 30, have faced rumours of a feud with the Beckhams in recent weeks. The couple sparked speculation of a rift when they failed to turn up to Brooklyn’s dad David’s 50th birthday party in London last month.
It was claimed the couple had originally planned to attend the meal and were in the UK at the time of the footy icon’s birthday meal in Notting Hill, attended by Brooklyn’s siblings and the likes of Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise. It’s claimed there’s a rift between Brooklyn and his famous family and that Nicola is to do with this.
A source has now claimed that there’s a running joke in the Beckham family that people should “duck and cover” whenever Nicola enters a room. A source told the Mirror: “Waiters are often in the firing line. Staff, family members, you name it…. they’ve seen it with their own eyes.”
It’s said Nicola’s pals would argue that Nicola, who was born into a billionaire family, simply “knows what she wants” and isn’t afraid to voice her opinions. However, the Beckhams would reportedly claim this behaviour can come off as “rude”.
A source told the outlet: “Say what you like about David and Victoria, but manners are incredibly important to them. Brooklyn is often close behind Nicola soothing things over. It’s almost as if he is being extra nice as if to offset his wife.”
It’s claimed this shows how the family rift is “still very much bubbling away” weeks after Brooklyn and Nicola failed to show up to David’s birthday meal. This reached its “zenith” a week ago with claims from Nicola’s friends that she had helped Brooklyn “see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within his family”.
A source close to the Beckhams slammed the claims as “deeply unpleasant and patently untrue” and said it was a “bit rich” for Nicola’s friends to lecture about toxic behaviour. The source described Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding in Palm Beach, Florida as a “horror-show”.
A source claims Nicola was “very stressed out and quite difficult to be around.” Nicola’s friends alleged this was mostly due to Victoria’s alleged refusal to make her wedding dress and that Nicola did all she could to “Integrate” into the Beckham family during a three-month period staying with them in 2020.
Celebrity hair stylist Justin Anderson, who has worked with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Aniston, has spoken out about his alleged experience of working with Nicola. The hair colourist worked with Nicola when she starred in Transformers.
Anderson previously called her the “worst of the worst of the worst” when asked if there were any celebs he wouldn’t work with again, adding that she was “actually a monster” Peltz’s friends claimed this characterization is false and stems from an incident involving Justin on set.
Friends of Justin claim he has nothing but sympathy for the Beckams after they were accused of toxic behaviour and emotional abuse. They said: “Justin can only imagine what it would be like to have Nicola as a daughter-in-law. He feels very bad for the Beckhams caught up in everything.”
The hair colourist previously said in a 2019 interview: “I remember this one time, the worst of the worst of the worst was this one little diva girl – I am going to get into trouble – she was the new Transformers girl. Her name was Nicola Peltz. She is from a really wealthy family. She was supposed to be the new It Girl but she has disappeared now. She is actually a monster.”
He added: “It’s so small in this town that if you are an a**hole people dont want to work with you. People who are really rude at the beginning…who think I am in this movie now, I am going to be this huge star, and they start having an attitude, no-one wants to work with that s***”
A source close to Nicola has now hit back at her hair colourist’s comments, suggesting the rift stemmed from their time together on the press tour on the Transformers film. They claimed Justin got “distracted” and left bleach too long in Nicola’s hair and was later replaced on the press tour.
Justin’s friends disagree with this. One said: “Nicola knows that’s not the truth of what happened that day…she doesn’t want to open up that can of worms.”
