Jojo Siwa opened up about her relationship with Chris Hughes as she is evicted from the Big Brother house and comes third place in the final.
The Dance Moms star has come under fire for her close relationship with Chris, despite having a partner at home. The pop star has now also said her and Chris are “more than friends” and that they plan to meet up over the weekend to play tennis together. During her exit interview, Jojo made sure to big up her friendship with Chris, which has been developing since the Love Island star defending her following homophobic comments made by the since kicked-out Mickey Rourke.
JoJo was asked about her close friendship by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best. Sharing her love for him, she said: “We love him, we absolutely love him. He is going to be in my life for forever now and I’m so incredibly grateful for him.”

She added: “He is more than a friend, he is such a special guy and I’m so lucky.”
When asked: “What is next for Chris and JoJo?” she joked: “Well, we are going to play tennis on Sunday!”
Jojo’s partner, Australian influencer Kath Ebbs was not mentioned, however it was reported that the star attended the final – but insisted she remained backstage. A source told The Sun: “Fans were worried JoJo’s girlfriend wasn’t going to make the journey over from Australia.
“She’s been silent on social media since JoJo grew closer to Chris in the house – and then the letter from home had everyone convinced she would snub the final.”
However, they added that Kath is instead backstage and gave “strict orders that she wont be in any camera shots – filmed or still camera.” Kath also hasn’t posted about CBB since since the first week of the ITV show as online rumours grew over JoJo and Chris’s close friendship.
Jojo and Chris have come under fire by viewers who believed their friendship became too intimate – and potentially disrespectful towards Kath.

Earlier this week, some viewers took Chris to task after he kissed JoJo on the head in the hot tub live on camera. “I don’t care what anyone says anymore! ! ! ! Chris and JoJo’s relationship and how they act with one another is so inappropriate. Imagine JoJo’s girlfriend watching this. She’s not going to be okay with this behaviour,” a viewer blasted on X.
However, not all agree, with some defending the pair online. “JoJo and Chris are literally soulmates and I don’t care what anyone says. They are so cute,” one fan tweeted. “Chrissss and JoJo have my whole heart,” another shared.
Chris was also asked about his friendship with JoJo in his exit interview, as he admitted he had begun to feel emotional.
“She reminded me a lot of… sorry I might get emotional now,” he confessed. “The thing that fascinated me the most about her is not the stuff she’s done but the stuff she’s been through and the stuff she’s come through as a teenager.

“That’s similar to what my ex-girlfriend went through. She’s come through a lot and she is just purely a nice person.”
He pointed out that he admired the similarities between JoJo and his ex, describing them both as “caring” and “loving”.
“From a friendship point of view, of course I love her,” he added.
Chris left the house in sixth place, followed by Chesney Hawkes. Donna Preston came fourth, and Jojo third. Danny Beard came second while Coronation Street’s Jack Shepherd took the crown.
