JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have insisted their relationship is entirely platonic, but the Karma singer has been liking a host of posts that seem to point to something more steamy
JoJo Siwa has appeared to “like” several posts alluding to a romance with Chris Hughes.
The pair’s friendship has raised eyebrows after they first met on Celebrity Big Brother just three weeks ago, with fans believing the pair “fell in love” with each other over the course of the show. Theories the twosome have developed feeling for each other have only gotten stronger after JoJo dumped her partner just hours after coming out of the house, and the pair having met Chris’ friends and family.
Since then, JoJo and Chris have insisted on multiple occasions that their friendship is entirely platonic. Speaking on Monday’s edition of This Morning (April 28), both Chris and JoJo confirmed there was nothing romantic between the two, with JoJo confirming she would be returning to America later that day.
However, JoJo has already been introduced to Chris’ friends and family, with photos of the pair at a local tennis club, as well as going to the pub, being posted on social media. Now, fans are certain that JoJo is suggested a more romantic dynamic after she liked a series of posts alluding to a more romantic relationship with Chris.
Over the past weekend, JoJo’s official TikTok account liked a video of the Karma singer and the Love Island star dancing close and intimately during the final night of Big Brother action. In the clip, the video was captioned: “Why does it look like they’re trying not to kiss when up close; love is love.”
JoJo went on to like another video of the couple, which appeared to liken their ill-fated relationship to that of Jack and Rose in the Titanic. The caption of the video read: “JoJo and Chris are so giving me Jack and Rose vibes.
“She’s the rich one who has fallen in love with someone who is lower class then her and she has probably never had this much fun in her life,” the theory carried on. “This is definitely the closest love story to Titanic yet.”
These videos were not only liked by JoJo’s account itself, but also Chris’ account and that of JoJo’s mum Jessalyn. Neither JoJo nor Chris have spoken publicly about the accounts liking the videos.
It comes after an unseen clip from the ITV show found that Chris and JoJo admitted they would be giving each other massages outside the house. The clip, shared by Celebrity Big Brother host Will Best, appeared to show another tender moment between the two.
Chris could be heard saying: “I owe her an IT band massage. I promised everyday and I think I might have said more, but you il get it,” before adding: “She’s going to get it on Sunday.”
Meanwhile, JoJo’s former partner Kath Ebbs is continuing to reel after being dumped just hours after the singer left the house on Friday (April 25). In a video uploaded to their TikTok account, the content creator revealed that JoJo had cut ties with them in a move that left Kath – who uses they/them pronouns – “humiliated”.
It came after JoJo, who went into the house identifying as a lesbian, realised that she was in fact, queer. Joking that she was “switching letters” with co-star Danny Beard, she also revealed she was toying with the idea of identifying as being non-binary, like her former partner.
