EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Big Brother beauty Ella Rae Wise has opened up about “grieving” her ITV co-star after she touches upon her former relationship with TOWIE hunk Dan Edgar
CBB’s Ella Rae Wise feels “emotional” as she talks about “grieving” her ITV co-star.
Before she ventured into the CBB house earlier this year, Ella went public about her breakup with her TOWIE co-star Dan Edgar, who she had been dating on-and-off for the past year.
When speaking exclusively to Daily Star at Shein’s O Beach VIP party, Ella gave us an update on her love life and current situation with ex Dan whilst styled in her Shein cowgirl look which fans can get here.
Ella told us: “We’re amicable, it’s an emotional situation, we’re both upset that it didn’t work. We tried a few times, we really did.
“It helped me to an extent, he’s had his grieving and now I’m grieving. my mind was taken off of it so much in CBB so I didn’t have time to grieve.”
When asked if she was looking for love this summer, she said “absolutely not” before adding “I’m hot girl summer-ing”.
She added: “I’m 24 now, I’ve been in and out of relationships since I was like 15. But I’m focusing on me, my work comes first, my money comes first. I’m levelling up and I’m just gonna get a six pack!”
Although she admitted to being rather disappointed to not finding someone she “gelled with” in the CBB house. Ella said: “It was a shame that I didn’t have someone in there that I really gelled with, but I went in there on my own and I did it for myself.
“I don’t regret doing it, it was an amazing experience but going in the fresh off the back of a breakup, it was quite an emotional time for me.
“Obviously my head was here, there and everything. I didn’t’ have my phone so it was no contact. It was not great timing to get over someone.”
CBB viewers initially thought Ella would couple with Love Island alum Chris Hughes, who is now dating his other CBB co-star JoJo Siwa.
When quizzed if she thought the same as viewers, she said: “I think I put myself in that situation and I said before I went in ‘If Chris Hughes is in there there, then lock me up’. Then I got in there and I thought ‘Na, he’s not a bit of me’.”
