Jeremy Clarkson’s farmhand Harriet Cowan dressed up as a cowgirl and certainly looked the part as she shook her hips in a clip, admitting she doesn’t “usually dress like this”
Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan proved she’s got the moves to be a cowgirl.
The 24-year-old farmer and nurse appeared as Jeremy Clarkson’s new farmhand on the fourth series of the Prime Video hit. She was brought in to help run Diddly Squat Farm, temporarily replacing Jezza’s sidekick Kaleb while he was away on tour.
The Diddly Squat farmhand impressed Jezza and fans of the Prime Video hit when she got stuck in to jobs around the farm. However, she decided to let her hair down this week as she dressed up as a cowgirl and headed out to a country day with a pal.
The TV star donned a pair of suede cowboy boots from Ariat, a white blouse, a blue denim mini skirt, and a cream cowboy hat. She looked every bit the part as she shook her hips in a fun clip posted on Instagram.
Harriet told fans: “We are going to a country day we don’t usually dress like this!”. Fans loved her look and rushed to the comments.
One gushed: “Beautiful young woman, and a hell of a farmer! I was very impressed with how she kicked Diddly Squat Farm into shape in a single montage. Casually hefting three fence poles like they were nothing!” Another commented: “Good on you ! Let yourselves go for all you do, you’re an absolute ambassador for both farming and nursing, take a bow, you deserve every good thing that comes your way”.
Harriet recently discussed a possible return to Diddly Squat Farm and the show. She said: “We’ve left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the moment.”
Jezza himself has addressed bringing Harriet back to the farm. He told The Sun: “It’s a reality show. We don’t just bring characters in because the TV show needs it. You bring them in because you really need them.
“I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around. But the truth is, we’ve got Kaleb, and he might go off and do Celebrity Love Island or something, and if I can’t manage, I’ll call Harriet in a heartbeat.”
She also revealed that she is good pals with fellow Diddly Squat farmer Kaleb, despite an awkward first meeting on the show. Jeremy had told Kaleb off for being frosty with his new farmhand when he first introduced them – but it seems like they’re on great terms these days.
She told BBC Derby: “Kaleb’s amazing. Me and him are so close now. He’s such a good farmer and we got on really well.”
She continued: “He’s another farmer to add to my phone list to ring. Everyone checks in to make sure everyone’s fine. The farm is two and a bit hours away, so it’s crazy to be talking to Kaleb, Jeremy, Gerald and Charlie and asking what the weather is like.”
