McFly singer Danny Jones has been pictured looking upbeat following the BRITs ‘kiss’ scandal with Maura Higgins.

The musician was seen out in West London smiling from ear to ear after reports claimed his wife Georgia has moved out of their family home, which they both share with their seven-year-old son, Cooper.

Danny was snapped walking across a green in the big smoke as he donned a white T-shirt, brown beanie and black trousers. He had a backpack on and strolled with a black jumper thrown across one shoulder.

This comes after Danny, 39, was filmed sharing a ‘drunken kiss’ with the Love Island star, 34, at Universal’s afterparty earlier this month. He has since publicly apologised for his antics and for putting his wife of 11 years at the centre of the chaos.

The former Miss England model is reported to have been staying with a friend in London following the incident. A source told The Sun: “They’re not together and she is working out what she wants to do.”

Last week, Danny issues a statement on his Instagram to acknowledge his actions. He wrote: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

Last week, he was also publicly seen with his wife Georgia for the first time since the scandal broke post-BRITs.

However, body language expert Judi James told The Mirror that Danny was “almost unrecognisable” as he wasn’t smiling and Georgia’s shoulders “look hunched, which can signal a desire to self-protect”

Reports had also emerged which suggested the singer had told pals that he was mortified over the pain the leaked video had caused.

A source said: “Danny has been mortified about whats happened and the awful situation he has put everyone in.

“He cares so deeply about his family and hopes his words will draw a line under what has been a deeply upsetting time, for everyone. Georgia and his son are absolutely everything to him.

“Throughout all this, he has been so thankful for the support of his fans. He just wants to move on, and heal in private. Fair play to Danny to owning this and addressing things head-on.”
