Danny Jones has been issued some advice for how to win his wife Georgia back after his kissing scandal.

The former Miss England has reportedly moved out of their family home after footage of the McFly star appeared to show him kissing his former I’m A Celebrity campmate Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty. It’s said Georgia, who shares son Cooper with Danny, is currently living with a friend in London.

Danny has now addressed the scandal and apologised to Georgia and their family for “putting them in this situation”. In a statement on Instagram, he told fans he and his family were trying to deal with the matter “privately” – but he did not directly confirm that such a kiss took place.

And now, he’s been given some advice by relationship expert Louella Alderson, co-founder of dating tool So Syncd. She believes the rocker needs to give Georgia “space” at the moment as she’s just moved out, and be willing to address Georgia’s concerns about their relationship in light of the scandal.

She’s also advised Danny to “take accountability” for the scandal and show “genuine remorse” to his wife of nearly ten years. Alderson said: “For starters, Danny should take accountability for his actions and demonstrate genuine remorse.

“He will also need to be open, transparent, and communicative in addressing Georgia’s concerns, answering any questions she may have, and actively showing that he is committed to rebuilding the trust and repairing their relationship. He should listen to Georgia’s feelings and perspectives without getting defensive or dismissive. It’s essential for him to understand the impact of his actions on her and to show empathy and understanding.”

She continued: “As Georgia appears to have moved out, Danny should give her space and respect her boundaries. It’s important for Georgia to have time to process her emotions and make a decision about the future of their relationship without feeling pressured or rushed. In the meantime, Danny should focus on making positive changes in himself and showing Georgia that he is actively working towards being a better partner.”

The pair put on a display of solidarity last week when they were spotted walking in Richmond, London. Louella said that while the model has stood by the musician, she “might need more time” before making any decisions on their relationship.

“Georgia won’t feel ready to move past this incident overnight,” Louella said, “and Danny needs to be understanding of that. By showing genuine effort and commitment to repairing the damage he has caused, there’s a possibility for them to rebuild their relationship and come out stronger in the end. But ultimately, it will be up to both of them whether they can overcome this challenge together.”

The relationship expert suggested couples therapy could “play a crucial role in their recovery” and help them to rebuild trust and strengthen their bond. She added of Georgia: “As the situation is still so raw, it’s likely Georgia is taking this opportunity to evaluate her emotions and figure out what she wants.”

Danny’s apology read: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.

“I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately. I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”
