Earlier this year, singer Danny Jones and his wife Georgia faced a challenging period when the McFly frontman was photographed kissing his I’m A Celebrity… campmate Maura Higgins at a celebrity event.

Nearly two months after the scandal, for which Danny publicly apologised, the couple are reportedly like ‘passing ships in the night’. The I’m A Celebrity winner and his campmate Maura were caught on camera sharing a drunken kiss at a raucous BRIT Awards afterparty, where they reportedly partied together until 6am.

Georgia, who shares son Cooper with the McFly star, temporarily moved out of their family home following the incident but has since returned. Danny issued a public apology to his wife and son.

Meanwhile, former Love Island contestant Maura, 34, has kept quiet about the situation and has been focusing on new career opportunities and enjoying trips away with friends.

As the married pair navigate their lives post-scandal, Georgia provided fans with an update on her ‘life lately’ by posting a series of photos on Instagram. The images shared by Georgia show her spending time with friends, working on upcoming projects, and cherishing moments with her son Cooper, who is seen playing a guitar, posing with friends, and attempting a Go Ape course, reports the Mirror.

Georgia shared a series of 16 snaps on Instagram, captioning them: “Life lately… Friends, family, filming, fresh air and fun… lots of lovely fun”, accompanied by a blue heart emoji. However, one notable absence from the photos was her husband, Danny.

This apparent Instagram snub has sparked speculation amid reports that Georgia and Danny, who have been married for a decade after meeting in 2009, are going through a tough patch. A source claimed to the Daily Mail that the couple are “taking each day as it comes” as they navigate this difficult period.

The insider revealed: “Danny and Georgia have been trying to navigate a very difficult time in their marriage and for the best part they have been taking each day as it comes.

“They may be living under the same roof, but they barely see each other and right now are like passing ships.”

With Danny gearing up for summer gigs with McFly and Georgia attending influencer events and collaborating with brands while caring for their son, Cooper, who frequently appears on her Instagram, it’s clear they’re keeping busy. However, when they’re not working, Danny allegedly spends his time riding his motorbike or hitting the gym, while Georgia either spends time alone or with family and friends.

The source noted that the couple hasn’t been spotted publicly together in six weeks, fuelling speculation that their relationship is far from normal at the moment. In the wake of the snog furore, Danny made a heartfelt apology to the public, declaring: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

He then added: “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”
