Death of a Unicorn is set to hit UK cinemas tomorrow and the thriller boasts an all-star cast.

A24’s latest horror flick is just a day away from hitting the big screen – but who are the stars bringing this chilling tale to life?

Set to release tomorrow (April 4) in UK cinemas, Death of a Unicorn is the newest thriller from the renowned production house. The plot revolves around a widower and his daughter who, en route to a wealthy pharmaceutical CEO’s estate, accidentally kill a unicorn and decide to bring it along with them.

Upon reaching their destination, they discover that the creature possesses potent healing powers, leading the estate owner to begin extracting it for unique medicinal concoctions, reports the Mirror.

As film buffs prepare to catch the thriller, here’s a rundown on its star-studded cast.

Paul Rudd – Elliot Kintner

Heading the cast is Paul Rudd, portraying the character of widower Elliot Kintner.

The 55-year-old actor has had a prosperous career since his first appearance in 1991.

His most memorable roles include a stint in the cult classic comedy Clueless and a recurring part in NBC sitcom Friends. He featured in seasons nine and ten of the legendary series, playing the role of Phoebe Buffay’s (Lisa Kudrow) third husband Mike Hannigan.

To newer fans, Rudd is known as Ant-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a role he will reprise in the forthcoming Avengers: Doomsday film.

Jenna Ortega – Ridley Kintner

Netflix sensation Jenna Ortega steps into the shoes of Rudd’s on-screen daughter, Ridley.

She’s no newcomer to sharing the screen with Hollywood big names, having recently starred in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice alongside Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton.

Ortega gained prominence through her role in Netflix’s popular drama Wednesday, a series based on the character from The Addams Family film and TV franchise.

The show was a smash hit, setting a new record for the most hours viewed in a week for an English-language programme, clocking in at 341.2 million hours.

Richard E. Grant – Odell Leopold

The movie’s ambitious antagonist, Odell Leopold, is portrayed by Richard E. Grant.

Despite boasting over a hundred acting credits, the actor is best known for his performance in the biopic Can You Ever Forgive Me?, which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

The 67-year-old has also had notable roles in Doctor Who, Withnail and I, and The Lesson.

Will Poulter – Shepard Leopold

We’re The Millers star Will Poulter steps into the shoes of Leopold’s equally unscrupulous son, Shepard.

Poulter is well-acquainted with the world of cinema, having made his film debut at the tender age of 13.

Now 32, the actor has appeared in popular shows such as FX’s The Bear, Netflix’s Black Mirror, and Hulu’s Dopesick.

Moreover, the London-born actor has left his mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Téa Leoni- Belinda Leopold

Rounding out the morally bankrupt family tree is Odell’s wife, Belinda Leopold, played by Téa Leoni.

Fans of action flicks will recognise the actress from her standout role in Michael Bay’s 1995 blockbuster, Bad Boys.

After making her mark, she featured in the American sitcom The Naked Truth, which enjoyed a three-season run.

Leoni has since graced the screen in Jurassic Park III, Madam Secretary and Only Murders in the Building.
