Getting the perfect passport picture is no easy task. It often becomes quite the challenge to snap an emotionless photo, especially in the day and age of pouting selfies.
For most, their ID picture will be one that they’ll only want to be seen by them and border security. Some passport photos can leave you looking like a ghost, like you’ve witnessed a ghoul or even render you into war-hungry Russian Vladmir Putin.
However, it looks like the rich and famous are exempt from a horrific passport snap. Over the last week, ‘holiday-obsessive’ and pop superstar Dua Lipa,29, has gone viral on social media after she jetted off on yet another trip abroad.
And, shortly after, her supposed ‘passport photo’ joined in on the virality with many claiming it is the “most beautiful” ID pictured to have ever been snapped.
But, we’re going to have to burst your bubble. Internet sleuths have identified Dua’s stunning ‘passport’ photo to have likely originated from an ID-style snap that was shot backstage at a Versace show back in 2021.
Earlier in the year, Dua posted her official passport pic to her Facebook followers with the caption: “you know an airport hates to see me coming.”
She seemed to have donned a white robe and slicked back hair for the formal identification card, still looking gorgeous in the photo that many dread.
Though, she’s not the only mega celeb to be praised for their passport photo.
