Emily Atack shared a look into her romantic trip with her new fiancé, Alistair Garner.
The pair, who share a son, have been soaking up the sun in French Pyrenees this week. The pair announced their engagement on Friday (July 18) with a sweet photo – and a reference to The Cure’s hit Friday I’m In Love. In the snap, a beaming Emily is seen hugging Alistair’s chest and showing off her stunning diamond ring in the garden.
Now, Emily shared some more behind-the-scenes photos, including a bikini picture revealing her figure. In the photo, she wore a plunging black bikini top as she lounged on a towel placed on grass.
She held a glass of champagne, which subtly showed off the new diamond on her finger. Emily, who was sat next to Alistair, completed her look with a pair of blue bikini bottoms.
Other photos included her enjoying an ice lolly next to her fiancé, as well as a picture of him in the villa. The captions on the photos described the home as “heaven on earth” and she added that they: “Could stay forever”.
On Emily’s initial engagement announcement post, many of her famous friends sent their well wishes over Instagram. Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore said: “Yassssss! Delighted for you both you cuties xxx.”
Fleur East gushed: “Woooo! Let’s gooo!!! Congrats,” alongside two love heart emojis. Sophie Ellis Bextor shared heart and clapping hand emoji, and Emily’s Rivals co-star Bella Maclean commened: “AHHHHHHHHHHH” in excitement.
The pair have known each other through extended family networks for years – and Emily’s mother, actress Kate Robbins, is reportedly sisters with Alistair’s step-mother Jane Garner. But they are not blood relatives and are related only through marriage.
Emily and Alistair’s son, Barney, arrived last year in June. The Inbetweeners star first announced her pregnancy in December 2023.
At the time, she said: “I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time. Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting – a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover.
“I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level. It’s made me appreciate the one I’ve been given so much.” She continued at the time: “I’m doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I’m growing.”
