Girls Aloud songstress Nicola Roberts has been with semi-professional footballer for around three years, but she had never shared photos of him on social media before now
Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts has finally made it Instagram official with her fiancé.
The Liverpool lass, 39, has been in a relationship with semi-professional footballer and accountant Mitch Hahn for almost three years. He got down on one knee last summer, and Nicola was seen wearing an engagement ring during her group’s Brighton Pride performance.
But in all that time, Mitch had never appeared on Nicola’s Instagram, with the couple instead keeping things quiet. That has all changed now, after they went out to Monte Carlo to celebrate her dad’s 60th birthday.
This week, Nicola shared a carousel of photos with her 386,000 followers. Mitch could be seen in a number of them, including one of the two of them at dinner.
She wrote in the caption: “The most gorgeous Monday in Monaco for my dad’s 60th with the whole family. The bestest trip.”
Fans were quick to share their thoughts, with one writing: “That looks stunning. Hope your dad has/had the best 60th. Hope you’re doing ok gorge.”
Another said: “Stunning photos, such a beautiful country. Hope you all had an amazing time.”
Someone else wrote: “How dreamy! The weather looks like it was on your side too.”
As one fan commented: “Hope you’re having a great time Nicola, love the picture with you and Mitch, you two look cute together.”
Nicole and Mitch were first seen together at Elton John’s BST Hyde Park gig in June 2022.
According to his Instagram, which is private, Mitch is a midfielder for Southern League club Ware FC, in Hertfordshire. He is also the CEO of Norderns Chartered Accountants.
Nicola’s previous public relationship was with Charlie Fennell. The duo dated for six years until 2013, with it being reported the romance “fizzled out”.
Before then, she had a brief romance with Carl Davies in 2008. She was granted a lifetime restraining order against him in May 2017 for stalking.
He had sent her 3,000 messages after their split which included threats to stab and burn her.
Four years after Nicola was granted a restraining order, Carl was sentenced to two years and eight months in jail for stalking television presenter Louise Minchin and her daughter.
