EXCLUSIVE: A British DJ couldn’t believe his eyes as one festival attendee munched on a rather unusual item while dancing as he performed to a jam-packed crowd…
An iconic UK DJ was left gobsmacked after spotting one festival attendee chowing down on something very unexpected.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star on behalf of Mecca Bingo, the viral DJ Fish56Octagon revealed: “I’ve seen some wild stuff, but one that really sticks with me is a guy at Boomtown festival who brought along a full box of 12 Weetabix and stood there eating them while I played!”
“With a dressing gown and breakfast vibe being a big part of my look, it was kind of poetic.”
Fish56Octagon, who mysteriously prefers to keep his real name hidden, will be playing Glastonbury at the Glade stage on Friday 27th June starting at 6:30pm and at the Greenpeace stage for a trance set on Saturday 28th June at 10:30pm.
He also recently teamed up with Mecca Bingo for a brand new track to create the ultimate Full House anthem “engineered to recreate the excitement of hitting the jackpot every time you hit play.”
The innovative DJ’s song pulses at 128 BPM, which is “the heart rate of a bingo player at the exact moment they claimed a full house”.
Fish56Octagon broke down his track and told Daily Star: “Mecca Bingo came to me with the idea to tie together the two worlds of ‘house’ – bingo and music – so people can feel the rush of a bingo win just by listening to a classic house track.”
“I wanted the track to mirror the arc of the classic bingo experience, the anticipation, the suspense, and the euphoric release. Layering in pulsing bass lines, piano and iconic bingo calls felt like building that tension you get when you’re waiting for the final number!”
Fish also teased new music in the pipeline with some big names you may recognise: “Let’s just say there may already be some exciting conversations in the works, but for now I’ve got to keep things under wraps. Don’t want to spoil the surprise!”
As for his unique stage name, Fish explained the meaning behind his memorable moniker: “My DJ name has 56 in it and I am 5ft 6inches tall!”
