Kris Jenner was left heartbroken last year when her younger sister, Karen Houghton, died unexpectedly.
The Kardashians have dropped another juicy episode in the sixth season of their hit family series, now streaming on Disney+ as of today (March 13).
Tragedy struck the Kardashian clan last year when Kris Jenner’s sister, Karen Houghton, died unexpectedly at 65 due to cardiac arrest and arrhythmia stemming from heart complications. In the latest tear-jerking episode, the family’s matriarch opens up about her heartache, reports the Mirror.
In a heartfelt chat with Scott Disick, Kris shared: “You just don’t expect your sibling to pass when she was younger than me. I just feel really bad for my mum, I don’t think any parent deserves to lose a child, I can’t imagine.”
Trying to come to terms with her sister’s death, Kris confessed: “I know she’s in a better place because she was never feeling good. I just didn’t expect a heart attack.”
She found solace in her belief: “I believe she’s in heaven with everyone else that we love and that’s what I have to hang on to.”

Kourtney Kardashian reminisced about her aunt in a touching confessional, saying: “My aunt Karen was such a sweet, authentic person.”
She fondly recalled: “My favourite memory of her is that she had a microphone in her car and she would sing while she was driving and so we were singing and having the best time, I was 10.”
Khloe Kardashian revealed: “My mum has always done anything and everything she can, she’s been such a great support for Karen.
“My mum is so incredibly heartbroken over the loss of her sister. Also, the fear of what this would do to my grandma and my mum is constant worry and grief thinking about MJ [Kris’ mum Mary Jo Shannon]. It breaks my heart because it’s such a helpless feeling.”
Kim Kardashian also opened up about her emotions, telling the camera: “She was the best human being ever, she was so fun and she was great.”
When her sister passed away in March last year, Kris took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to post a touching tribute.
She wrote: “Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny.
“She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter.
“She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together,” Kris concluded.
The Kardashians airs a new episode every Thursday on Disney+
