EXCLUSIVE: Former Coronation Street beauty Helen Flanagan owns feeling “sexy” and predicts she will “always be the same” just like her stunning celebrity inspiration
Coronation Street beauty Helen Flanagan loves owning feeling “sexy” and has praised celebrity icons Amanda Holden and Carol Vorderman for doing the same.
Talented actress Helen, 34, predicts she will “always be the same” when it comes to feeling this way and has no plans on shutting down her sex appeal any time soon – just like her fellow TV veterans, who are 54 and 64 respectively.
The TV star spoke exclusively to Daily Star at the Which Bingo Awards which took place in Gibraltar earlier this week. She told us: “I don’t think there’s any issues with being like that, I love women celebrating themselves.
“For example, I love Carol Vorderman and Amanda Holden, they’re both beautiful and sexy women, they’re not in their 20s but they still own it. And I think they’re more attractive nowadays.
“I think it’s nice to celebrate feeling like that. I feel like the older you get, the more comfortable you are in your own skin, you worry less about things and I definitely think having kids put things into perspective too.”
Helen has had a sparkling career since becoming a soap icon in 2000, which has lead to being bikini babe on I’m A Celeb and landing herself on many pages in the lads’ mags of the noughties.
More recently, she starred on Celebs Go Dating and has continued working with the likes of Ann Summers, which lets her show off her fab physique. And fans will be thrilled to find out that mum-of-three Helen plans to continue with the same mantra way into the future.
Helen is also eyeing up some big telly projects and she shares her dream to join the Loose Women panel. The actress added: “I’d love to join the Loose Women, I think I would be a good addition on there. I’m not super opinionated but I don’t sit on the fence, I am quite balanced – not boring! I will always still say what I think.”
Helen also shared that she would love to put on her dancing shoes on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. She added: “I would absolutely want to do Strictly – I think I would love the outfits and getting all dressed up. I’m not the best dancer but I’ll give it a go.”
Helen jetted off to Gibraltar for the Which Bingo Awards and presented some big wins on the night as she stunned in a leopard print dress and sported a sophisticated up-do.
Attendees were thrilled to see the soap siren on the big night who was also accompanied by Eurovision legend Cheryl Baker who wrapped the night with a stellar performance of Making Your Mind Up.
