Helen Flanagan looks undie-niably sexy in black lingerie– as she blasts “mum shamers”.
The former Coronation Street star was recently criticised for going on a night out with her boyfriend Robbie Talbot’s daughter. Helen never fails to wow fans with her glam snaps on social media, but some people have criticised her for doing so because she’s a mum.
The 34-year-old shared a video of herself posing in the daring underwear – with suspenders – as she slammed ‘mum shamers’ and urged women to support each other. The actress, who is mum to Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, wasn’t afraid to stick up for herself.
She told her fans: “I get a lot of comments on my page saying along the lines of ‘you’re a mum, you shouldn’t be lingerie modelling etc’ which I’ve always done. As women we should support and empower each other and more importantly be kind to each other as women.”
Helen’s boyfriend Robbie responded to the post, simply sharing the gobsmacked emoji in the comments section. Meanwhile, her followers rushed to show her support. One said: “As ‘a mum’ i had this for many years! Sorry but “as a lady” we all wear lingerie… You look incredible! Feel good, embrace it and do you! Theres always someone with an opinion. Take mine, you look amazing!”
Another wrote: “Couldn’t agree with you more. Just because you’re a mum, it doesn’t mean you should stop doing what you enjoy. You look very. Beautiful.”
A third commented: “Why on earth should being a Mum should stop you modelling lingerie? You are gorgeous, wish I looked like that in my underwear.” A fourth replied: “You look gorgeous.” Another added: “You do you girl! Stunning woman!”
Helen played Rosie Webster in Coronation Street from 2000 until 2012 before returning to the cobbles in 2017. She went on maternity leave in 2018 and has not returned since, instead doing shows such as I’m A Celebrity and Celebs Go Dating.
