The Pop-Up Hotel offers Glastonbury-goers everything from helicopter arrivals to IV infusions, as well as a whole host of other luxury treatments, to give them a festival experience like no other
Festival-goers at Glastonbury with a bit of spare change can avoid the muddy camping fields and opt for a luxury glamping site just a stone’s throw away from the festival itself. The Pop-Up Hotel provides everything from helicopter arrivals to IV infusions, ensuring VIPs receive star treatment while they soak up all that Worthy Farm has to offer.
The plush accommodation promises its guests the “perfect balance of relaxing rejuvenation to all the festival excitement this summer”. Visitors are treated to “luxurious upgrades and carefully curated wellness experiences”, guaranteeing they’ll be pampered like “never before”.
The Pop-Up Hotel states: “Featuring suites with private bathrooms and all rooms with real beds and power outlets for charging phones, The Pop-Up Hotel makes ‘roughing it’ a thing of the past.”
It continues: “Easy arrival and check-in with free parking, personal concierge and customer service teams, luggage and buggy service and 24-hour private security to guarantee guest privacy. All located in a field just a short walk away from all the action; a 10-minute flat walk away from Gate D […] Cult will be bringing its signature bold aesthetic to The Pop-Up Hotel with two exclusive VIP seating areas.”
Forget about dragging around trailers full of crates and hefty tents, guests can fly into the hotel using Slick Travel’s Heli-Hop service. Bypassing the traffic and long queues, Pop-Up Hotel guests can “fly into Glastonbury like rock royalty”, reports the Mirror.
Instead of the usual can of lukewarm Strongbow whilst erecting their tent, guests at the Pop-Up Hotel will be treated to a sophisticated glass of chilled Champagne Piaff. They can then lounge around the venue’s private pool, enjoying evening DJ sets and surprise performances from guest musicians, according to the organisers.
Personal cleanliness is often a worry during festival season, but patrons of the Pop-Up Hotel won’t have to endure the smell of the long-drops. Rather than queuing for chilly showers, glampers will have access to private bathrooms, with no wet wipes in sight, as the bathrooms are stocked with eco-friendly products from Wild.
Indeed, not only will guests be clean – a tall order at Glasto – they’ll also be positively glowing. The salon pamper area will provide guests with “complimentary tools and products, private cubicle hot showers 24 hours a day and proper flushing loos”.
Makeup artists from Sephora will be available to add some sparkle to the experience, offering “festival-themed makeup services and hair treatments”. Those who prefer to do it themselves can also utilise the self-serve salon stocked with Sephora products.
While guests may have a bit more disposable income than the average person, they’re still human after all. And if they overindulge in drinks and wake up feeling a bit rough, they don’t have to rely on stale painkillers and pricey green juices – they can simply inject wellness into their veins with bespoke IV infusions.
The destination boasts: “The Wellness Space [is] a cutting-edge spa experience with contrast therapies; saunas and ice baths paired with breathwork, yoga and wellness experiences curated by The Pop-Up Hotel’s Heads of Wellbeing: Experts Richie Norton and Rob and Josie da Bank.
“Body Brilliant bespoke treatments from vitamin booster drops shots to bespoke IV infusions and compression therapy to revitalise festival weary bodies.”
Homewood House Hotel Massage will be on hand to offer “advanced therapeutic techniques, nature’s finest botanicals and science-led complexes along with signature touches, for truly magical experiences that relax the mind and reward the skin”.
For a pick-me-up, ditch the energy drinks and head to the Hotel’s caffeine partner Lavazza, who will be brewing authentic Italian coffee and cocktails. The brand will also be operating a bar, restaurant and courtyard Kitchen and The Deli.
