Mariah Carey’s Touch My Body features some seriously saucy lyrics.
The song was released back in 2008 as the lead single from her eleventh studio album and tells the story of a steamy fling with her lover.
Carey references a camera filming the pair of them while they get down and dirty with the lyrics: “It it’s a camera up in her then it’s gonna leave when I do, I do.”
“If there’s a camera up in here then I best not catch this flick on YouTube, YouTube. ‘Coz id you run your mouth about this secret rendezvous, I will hunt you down.”
The songstress then continues on to detail what they get up to in the bedroom, involving wrestling and throwing each other around the room: “Touch my body, put me on the floor, wrestle me around, play with me some more.”
“Touch my body, throw me on the bed. I just wanna make you feel like you never did. Touch my body, let me wrap my thighs, all around your waist, just a little taste.”
Mariah then cheekily quips: “I know you like my curves,” before launching into the chorus once again.
The video features Mariah fooling around with a man dressed in a suit and glasses in her huge Hollywood mansion. Scenes show Carey dressed in a school girl costume, wearing a pink dress and play fighting with her lover and dancing through her huge house.
Touch My Body was Carey’s eighteenth number one and solidified her as the solo artist with the most number one singles in United States history, a record previously held by Elvis Presley.
The song reached top five spots in Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and the UK.
