But his ITV News colleague Anushka Asthana has announced she is leaving the channel after four years. The presenter has co-hosted ITV’s Wednesday evening politics programme Peston, with journalist Robert Peston, since 2018.

She was made ITV News Deputy Political Editor in 2021. However, she’s revealed she is moving across the pond to Washington DC as she’s been appointed US Editor of Channel 4 News.
