Jack P Shepherd takes swipe at Celebrity Big Brother co-stars after winning show

Chatting on Good Morning Britain, CBB winner Jack P Shepherd make a sly dig at his fellow housemates when asked if any of his castmates would be coming to his wedding

Celebrity Big Brother winner Jack P Shepherd made a cheeky swipe at all his former housemates.

Jack emerged victorious during Friday night’s final (April 25), beating the likes of JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes, who have caused a stir due to the nature of their friendship. However, fans were not happy with the result, with many – including former housemate Patsy Palmer – saying it would be likely he would win due to his huge soap fanbase.

Now, days after he was crowned as the winner of the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother, Jack has given his thoughts on the competition. He gave fans an update on what his life would be like after the house, and whether he would keep in touch with any of the celebs he lived with for three weeks.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday (April 28), Jack spilled the beans on what he made of his time in the house. Showbiz editor Richard Arnold led the chat, and attention soon turned to Jack’s upcoming wedding to Hanni Treweek in just a few weeks.

Curious to see if any of his co-stars be present at the wedding, Richard asked: “Anyone from the Big Brother house?” Jack seemed fairly confident that none of them would be getting an invite.

“No, I don’t think so, come on,” he explained. “I’ve only known them three weeks – I’ve got a guest list a mile long!”

He then went on to drop one particular housemate in it as he revealed that they had been pleading with him to be invited. “Chris keeps asking for an invite don’t he? I’m like ‘I don’t think you will pal’,” the Corrie star added before laughing: “I haven’t even told him the date!”

David Platt star Jack first met his fiancée when she worked on the ITV soap as a scriptwriter and a researcher for potential storylines. The two hit things off and started dating shortly afterwards in 2017.

Just months later, Jack and Hanni made their relationship entirely official, with Jack beaming with pride in an interview with OK! magazine that Hanni was in fact his “soulmate”. In another interview, this time on Loose Women, Jack and Hanni believed they had bonded surprisingly fast, but they were enjoying every minute of it.

When asked on what would be next for the couple, such as marriage or children, Hanni explained: “I think we fell quite quickly and from that we just clicked. And we were on the same page, and you do have those conversations but yeah I think we would like to… in the future.”

According to OK!, Jack popped the all-important question whilst on a safari holiday in Tanzania in June of 2024. Hanni beamed with pride as she said yes, revealing the happy news to her followers, who were thrilled to hear about the couple’s engagement.

Speaking with the Mirror, Jack confirmed that all the plans had been put in place, so the couple are now getting ready to celebrate the happy day. “The wedding is this year, we’re very excited; it’s all done, it’s all paid for.

“It should be a really good day actually. I love a wedding,” he joked. “Absolutely love a wedding. Weddings and funerals.”

However, Jack recently revealed whilst inside the house that he suffered a near-death experience, almost dying in a serious collision on the M62 motorway – meaning his wedding could have been off the cards. Getting caught up in the freak accident, the star totalled the car, crashing through the barrier and “hanging over a bridge” – leaving his fellow housemates in shock.
