Jeff Brazier has reportedly taken legal action to stop his 20-year-old son Freddy – who he shares with the late Jade Goody – from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden
Jeff Brazier is reportedly taking legal action to prevent his 20-year-old son Freddy Brazier, whom he shares with the late Jade Goody, from seeing his maternal grandmother.
The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins contestant is believed to be keen on stopping the young model’s contact with Jade’s mum, Jackiey Budden.
Insiders have detailed how Freddy has allegedly had a ‘secret feud’ with Jeff and reportedly ‘storms out the house’ after explosive arguments, often staying at grandma Jackiey Budden’s pad in southeast London to simmer down.
Jeff, whilst on Celebrity Race Around The World, mentioned that he doesn’t ‘see loads of him’ as “Fred isn’t at home loads”. Jeff, aged 45, is said to have started legal proceedings with a barrister in tow for an impending court date.
A source spilled to The Sun: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep him safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his wellbeing for a long time now.
“The fact that Jeff is going down this route shows how concerned we all are, and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.”
Last year, sources claimed the father and son’s rows got so intense the model would vacate the family home to go and see his nan. “Freddy will often turn up on the doorstep, sometimes very unhappy, and wanting to see his nan,” a source claimed to the Mail.
“He and Jeff often argue, the rows can be bad, things go really, really pear-shaped between them and that’s it, he leaves.
“While Jackiey has her issues – and will be the first to admit she isn’t the most perfect or archetypal grandmother – he can share his feelings with her which is something he can’t do at Jeff’s.”
On the first episode of Celebrity Race Across The World, fans got an inside look at Jeff and Freddy’s relationship. Before the TV challenge kicked off, Jeff was buzzing about the chance to bond with Freddy on the intense journey, despite sharing a home.
“D’you know what I’m most looking forward to about this trip is that I feel like I’m about to learn a lot more about my son,” Jeff had previously gushed.
Opening up in the series premiere, the host told viewers: “[Fred] isn’t at home loads and as a result, I don’t see loads of him, but the beauty of this trip is he’s with me and can’t shake me off.”
