Little Mix star Jesy Nelson requires urgent surgery.
The singer is pregnant with twins, but recently announced that she has been told her twins could die in the womb. Jesy took to Instagram to inform her followers about her condition and broke the news that she will be needing surgery.
In a video, Nelson said: “Hey guys, so we are just giving you an update on our situation. So I’ve been feeling a bit poorly like the past few days.”
“Been having a few of the symptoms that I need to watch out for – which is like my belly tightening, struggle breathing. So today we came into the hospital to just have a check-up basically, just in case.”

“Unfortunately the symptoms have got worse so we now have to have […] they have to perform the procedure, which is obviously not what we wanted to happen.”
Nelson told fans that the surgery is “necessary” because it will help to give her unborn children “the best chance of surviving.” The couple are “waiting to go in” and are “hoping and praying for the best”.

Heartbreakingly, Jesy told the camera she is “absolutely gutted” with the news and that the couple “hoped they wouldn’t even be in this position”.
Alongside her, Jesy’s partner Zion Foster offered support and reassured the expectant mother. He joined in and explained: “They’re doing it to give us the best chance. Our babies the best chance.”

Jesy continued on to say that the thought it “really scary” because there are “so many things that can happen”.
The Boyz singer closed out her video by saying: “We just wanted to update you guys. Keep you in the loop with what’s going on. So yeah just pray for us please. Thank you.”
