Singer Junior Andre has taken a big step with his girlfriend Jasmine Orr, 24, and moved in with her to a one-bedroom apartment in Surrey, and couldn’t be happier
At the tender age of 20, Junior Andre is already carving out a promising career – and he’s just taken a significant step forward with his girlfriend Jasmine Orr. The offspring of Katie Price and Peter Andre has recently moved in with the 24-year-old influencer in a cosy one-bedroom flat in Surrey, asserting that he’s fully prepared to be independent.
The singer previously divided his time between his dad and step-mum, Emily MacDonagh’s homes, and his mum Katie’s place. In a new interview, he shares his thoughts on his famous parents now that he’s in a serious relationship himself.
When asked about receiving life advice from Katie or Mysterious Girl crooner Peter, he said: “I mean, I’m my own man, aren’t I?”
He added: “So, I learn for myself and I think that’s the way everyone does it. It’s the same way my parents did it, you know, just life experience. You live and you learn.”
Junior’s parents parted ways in 2009 after a four-year union, and he and his younger sister Princess, now 18, alternated their time between the two households. Regarding his love affair with Jasmine, which kicked off last year after they met at a work do, Junior told OK! magazine that both his parents have been “really supportive”.
He said: “They were really happy for us. My parents were both there if we needed anything while moving, and we’re still going to be going for barbecues at Dad’s, or to my mum’s for movie nights. Family is so important. We’re going to host them here, too, once everything is settled.”
Katie recently spoke about her experience of co-parenting Junior and Princess after her split from Peter. In an interview with dating expert Paul C Brunson, she revealed that they had never discussed their breakup since separating, reports the Mirror.
In a previous episode of her podcast, Katie Price Show, Katie talked to her sister Sophie about how her role as a mum was changing as the kids grew older and started their own careers. She said: “Although they live with me, because they’re going away soon and Junior’s just been doing night stuff, working nights, I haven’t seen much of them.”
Meanwhile, Princess, who turned 18 last month, has been working on an ITV2 documentary. While Peter and Emily will make appearances, it’s been reported that Katie will not be involved. On her podcast, Katie addressed the rumours, saying: “Just ‘cos everyone knows she’s doing this documentary. I’m not in.
“But we’ll talk about that nearer the time. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people who used to look after me.”
