Katie Price has reportedly split from her boyfriend JJ Slater after 19 months together, with a source claiming the former glamour model has ‘a string of men’ sliding into her DMs
Reality TV personality and podcast host Katie Price has reportedly parted ways with her beau JJ Slater after 19 months, amid reports she’s already moving on with “loads of guys” vying for her attention in her inbox.
Married At First Sight star JJ, 31, and Katie, 47, first sparked romance rumours at the close of 2023, and following a tumultuous whirlwind romance, an insider has suggested that Katie has grown “bored” and that JJ has “lost his sparkle”.
“Katie and JJ have decided to go their separate ways, with JJ having already packed his bags and moved out. Ultimately, Katie’s gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he’d lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat,” a source claimed to Closer.
The source further disclosed that Katie “isn’t upset” about being single again and has plenty of options sliding into her DMs, even making light-hearted remarks to her friend where she likened men to handbags.
They added: “JJ has seen the messages, DM’s sliding in and out from other men, Katie isn’t upset. She even joked with her pal, ‘new house, new start! I change men like handbags, but handbags are more useful!’ He’s gutted, but Katie claims she has not been unfaithful or been going behind his back and sexting other men.”
Commenting on Katie’s dating tendencies, the source said: “Katie loves the excitement of the chase and being chased. If it’s naughty, then she’s in.”
Adding: “She craves the dopamine rush and is a self-confessed addict to anything that gives her a rush and instant gratification. She lives for her next hit, and sadly, JJ is just another statistic of collateral damage.”
Just last month, Katie was spotted getting up close and personal with several topless men during a holiday in Ibiza. The trip apparently left JJ feeling insecure, with a source confiding to OK!: “She can’t help but flirt and cosy up to people, it’s the life she’s always led.”
During the getaway, the ex-glamour model was photographed socialising with Conor McGregor, former UFC champion, EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney, and Wayne Lineker, the owner of the island’s O Beach club, reports the Mirror..
In a May episode of Paul C Brunson’s podcast, Katie hinted that things were going south with JJ, discussing her concerns about over-investing her time in the relationship, which made her miss out on socialising with her friends.
She stated: “When you meet someone, it’s natural to want to be with them all the time. Then the mistakes I’ve made in the past are then you’re with them all the time.”
She later added: “I’m a bit worried that I’ve got like that with JJ.”
