Kim Woodburn has died at the age of 83, her family has announced.
The TV titan shot to fame with her hit Channel 4 cleaning show, How Clean Is Your House? alongside Aggie MacKenzie. She went on to become a reality TV icon with explosive stints on Celebrity Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
Known as the “Queen of Clean”, she was also a regular on ITV’s This Morning and Loose Women.
Kim passed away on Monday (June 16) after a short illness, those close to her have confirmed. A statement read: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.

“Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.
They added: “We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.”

Kim married her “soulmate” Peter Woodburn in 1979 and they lived together in Nantwich, Cheshire. In 2016, he appeared alongside Kim on Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun, where they sought to purchase a holiday home in the Costa del Sol.
Kim’s passing comes weeks after she stopped sending personal video greetings to fans on Cameo due to ill health. She told her social media followers earlier this month: “No more videos for now, my loves, I need to get better!”

A post on Kim’s Instagram in March read: “We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record any further videos for the foreseeable future, due to a health problem. Kim sends her love to you all.”
Kim appeared on I’m A Celebrity back in 2009, where she finished runner-up to Gino D’Acampo. The star was never afraid to speak her mind and famously feuded with Katie Price during her time in the jungle – she also branded Gino a “full-of-himself little pig”.

The cleaning guru stepped into the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017 in what would become one of the most iconic appearances in the show’s history. Here, she had heated confrontations with the other housemates such as Nicola McLean and Coleen Nolan.
Kim cemented herself as a legendary CBB housemate thanks to her savage put-downs and fans loved her no-nonsense attitude. Memes from her time on the show still go viral on social media.
The following year, Kim stormed off an episode of Loose Women after she and Coleen attempted to reconcile. Media watchdog received over 3000 complaints about the 2018 episode.
