Liam Gallagher confirms iconic Oasis song is not on tour setlist as fans protest

Liam and Noel Gallagher are reuniting this year for their long-awaited reunion tour, but fans have been left heartbroken after it was confirmed that they will not be playing one of their biggest hits

Liam Gallagher has confirmed a beloved Oasis song will not be played at the reunion tour.

The Gallagher brother is set to take to the stage once again with his brother Noel for a series of concerts throughout the summer.

Excited fans are gearing up to watch the beloved 90s legends return, but some are now seriously disappointed after hearing that one of the band’s most iconic tunes will not be on the set list.

Liam has confirmed that Rock N Roll Star is “getting played” as well as their song Hey Now. One fan recently asked: “You gonna sing Acquiesce with Noel at the Heaton park gigs for us Liam?”

One said: “You can’t do this to us,” while a second wrote: “No way. WTF Liam. That’s one of the best Oasis songs.”

A third person chimed in: “You pair simply have to sign Acquiese. It wouldn’t be right getting back together and not singing that.”

Another disgruntled fan even told Liam that some “people are gonna cry!”

Liam has also addressed recent rumours that the brothers won’t be performing their song Hello due to a connection to convicted paedophile Gary Glitter.

The song includes lyrics from Glitter’s song Hello, I’m Back Again along with a melody from the original. When asked “is it true” by one fan, Liam responded: “We’ll be playing Hello, trust me.”

Liam has also been asked if the set list can be “tweaked,” to which he replied: “Of course and I’m sure it will, we’re very flexible.”

On 12 May Liam also said: “The setlist is done and I’m afraid [Hey Now] didn’t make it, now don’t take it personally and call me hurty names as it’s not my fault we can’t play them all.”
