Love Island fans saw Casey O’Gorman and Gabby Allen crowned the winning couple on this year’s All Stars series, but many were shocked by the result and felt something was off
Love Island has landed itself in another “fix” row.
Fans were shocked to see Casey O’Gorman and Gabby Allen win this year’s series of the ITV dating show on Monday night (February 18). It’s clear many fans had expected Luca Bish and Grace Jackson to win, but they finished runners-up instead.
And some viewers reckon Sammy Root, who placed fifth with Elma Pazar, looked less than impressed at not being able to scoop up the £50k prize for a second time. The Essex hunk won Love Island with his now-ex Jess Harding back in 2023.
Luca and Grace were the bookies’ favourite to win the series, and Luca had been voted the most popular boy in the villa, So it was a surprise to many that Casey and Gabby claimed the cash – even they seemed taken aback when their names were called out by host Maya Jama.
Many viewers were fuming and claimed it must have been a fix, with one writing on X: “This has got to be a fix how has CASEY won.” Another commented: “Did you not hear the shout for Luca and Grace?? Sooo much louder than Gabby and Casey, it’s a fix.”
A third complained: “What an absolute fix that was.” Casey said of Gabby: “I absolutely adore her (Gabby). She has just blown me off my socks since I got here. As soon as that first conversation I had with her, it was game over for me.”
He said of his time in the villa: “Genuinely, I’ve honestly had the time of my life here, no wonder I was back for a third time. It was so much fun, I know I didn’t find anyone in the past couple of times but it’s just amazing here and it’s such a great experience, why would you not do it?”
Gabby said of Casey, who has now been in the villa three times: “Well I always fancied him… I was excited from the get-go.”
