Masked Singer host Joel Dommett has been hounded by fans shouting “Take it off!” at his house.

The current series of The Masked Singer has seen the likes of EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy be revealed. And one iconic singer was said to be so upset she’d been voted off that she walked off stage.

The TV presenter had a gate installed after people kept turned up chanting the ITV show catchphrase near his home in Surrey.

But the telly star has said he and his wife are now considering moving house as it scares his partner. Joel made the admission on the latest episode of Rob Brydon’s podcast Brydon & Joel Dommett.

He said: “Well, we’ve got to think about moving. Basically we’re in a difficult position where we moved five years or so ago, lovely place, like it.

“It was very open and nice, and then we had the problem of people kept on knocking on my door and running away and shouting ‘Take it off! Take it off! Take it off!’

“Funny to them. Really scares my wife. And so we got a gate and a hedge.”

The hit series sees a panel and TV audiences guess the secret identity of the anonymous celebrity singers, who wear elaborate costumes.

Rob admitted that he had also had fans shouting at him but admitted it eased off.

He said: “We had a phase of people shouting outside our front door. We are near a university.

“But it’s eased off and it probably says my ‘star’ such as it is is waning.”
