Molly-Mae Hague has been accused of sending flirty messages to a boxing rival of Tommy Fury, however sources close to the star have claimed the messages are fake
Molly-Mae Hague has reportedly been caught up in a flirty message fiasco with an American boxer, but her camp is slamming the claims as bogus.
The former Love Island bombshell, currently soaking up the sun in Dubai with her ex-beau Tommy Fury, has been thrust into a text leak storm.
Insiders close to Molly-Mae are calling out the messages as phoney after TV personality and pugilist Chase DeMoor aired supposed screenshots. He lobbed this bombshell amid a tiff with Tommy’s bro Roman, whom he was due to fight with.
Despite bowing out of the Misfits boxing event, Chase has vowed to “go for the whole family”.
Chase, who’s declared “the gloves are off”, posted what he alleges are DMs from Molly-Mae. He’s adamant they’re legit, yet sceptics and fans alike have blasted them as “so fake” and not fitting for the young mum.
In the supposed exchange, Chase makes the first move towards Molly-Mae, reports the Mirror.
His message reads: “Hey beautiful, I’m in the UK, I know we didn’t really get a chance to see each other last time but I want to make it up to you”.
A response that’s been dismissed as “totally fake” by her followers allegedly comes from Molly-Mae, saying: “Oh yh? How’s that babe?” To which Chase purportedly retorts: “I’m thinking let’s get some Sushi and see where it leads.”
The account purporting to be Molly-Mae replied: “You think it’s just going to be easy? But what dates? If I’m around, let’s do it. I’ve never been out with an American before. Think that’s where I’m going wrong x,” complete with a heart face emoji.
Chase shot back: “You won’t regret it, I promise” while Molly-Mae supposedly retorted: “We’ll see”.
Fans and insiders close to Molly-Mae were quick to dismiss the screenshots as a mere publicity stunt. One sceptic said: “This is so obviously fake”, prompting Chase to defend his position with a “Def not”.
Another chimed in: “Molly-Mae would not say ‘oh yh.” A different user remarked: “There’s no way Molly-Mae would say ‘yh’ like that, and she don’t talk like that.”
One observer declared: “It’s so fake it’s unreal, sorry but Molly ain’t about that life”, while another simply stated: “So fake.”
Despite the widespread disbelief, Chase has remained adamant about his claims. The TV personality, who rose to fame on Netflix hits Perfect Match and Too Hot To Handle, even posted a video reinforcing his assertions.
In the video, he claimed: “Guys I was not joking when I said after I’m done with Roman Fury on March 29 that I’m going to be joining the family for Christmas next year. Look at these DMs from yours truly Molly-Mae. Molly-Mae, she loves me. What can I say. I’m part of the Fury family now.
“So after I’m done with Roman, he’s going to get disowned. And uhm, yeah. See you for Christmas next year buddy.”
