Oasis have said they could be releasing more tickets to their reunion tour gigs.

The Britpop titans kick off their hotly-anticipated Live ’25 tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium next Friday (July 4). However, fans who missed out on tickets may still have a chance to see the band on the tour.

Oasis have revealed that a “limited number of additional tickets” may be up for grabs after some final checks. Both Noel and Liam Gallagher shared the news on X, formerly Twitter.

However these tickets will only be available to fans who are signed up to the Oasis fans site. They said on X/Twitter: “As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned.

Some fans feared the band were breaking up

“These final production releases will happen over the coming days. If you are an Oasismynet member, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from your regular Oasismynet or Ticketmaster correspondence address.”

They also warned fans to ensure the email is from the correct account, reports the Mirror. Oasis added: “Please double check the email is from the correct account before following links or sharing any purchase information.”

Fans were thrilled at the possibility of securing tickets to the shows, which had sold out. One user said: “Shut up I’m gonna cry.”

However, many had worried the announcement was going to be that the tour had been axed because of Noel and Liam Gallagher falling out. “My heart stopped I thought they broke up again,” wrote one.

Another added: “Almost had a heart attack.” One concerned user posted: “Long message I got scared they had a falling out.”

The ticket news comes after fans were warned they could fall victim to scams while trying to secure tickets for the shows, which will take place in Manchester, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh across July, August and September. Some fans claimed they were targeted by scammers.

One woman said: “He said his only condition was that I sent him selfies from the gig, and he even sent me GIFs of the band with the catch line ‘All Your Dreams Are Made’. And I thought they were. I thought he can’t be. He was a lovely lad, I thought. We had calls and Facetimed, and he was so personable. I just feel so embarrassed and ashamed.”

Oasis fans have been warned to be selective about where they buy their tickets. Not all these offers are genuine, with many coming from unverified brands and individual scammers on social media so fans have been warned.

In a bid to combat scams and ticket touts, the band have teamed up with Twickets for fans to resell tickets at face value to other fans.

Liam and Noel will be back together on stage for the first time in years after a backstage bust-up between the Gallagher brothers at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009, which led to a big fallout.

Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”, and the brothers had made negative comments about each other for more than a decade.

That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August last year. The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band’s long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: “The great wait is over.”

Liam recently discussed reuniting with his brother after feuding for years. One fan asked on X/Twitter : “How does it feel singing songs with ur brother again? Like old times? (sic)” The musician then replied: “You know what it’s spiritual but I can’t help think about all those wasted years, what a waste of PRECIOUS time (sic).”

Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together in public, on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. There will also be dates in Manchester, London and Dublin as part of the tour.

The new live shows will also feature special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who are friends with the band.

In April Noel broke his silence in a new book to talk about the Oasis Live 25 tour.

On the demand for tickets, Noel told photographer Kevin Cummins: “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”

He was also quizzed to name his favourite Oasis song but replied: “Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some Might Say, Live Forever and Rock’n’Roll Star.”

The band have been rehearsing for some time and are said to be sounding good, according to a close pal of Noel.

U2 frontman Bono said: “I love them. I just love them. And what I really love is this, the sort of preciousness that had gotten a part of what was called indie music. They just blew it out.

“And there was just a swagger. The sound of getting out of the ghetto, not glamorising it. And they’re both funny, funny, funny.

“I’m still very close with Noel. And he got a message to me, and he says that he’s kind of shocked by how great the band is. So I think we’re going to have a good summer.”
